I've only had this deck for about a week but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! Sound quality is amazing especially with the aftermarket Alpine speakers I installed. I also love all the features. It links wonderfully with my iPhone and the hands free phone calls are awesome. The USB port is the best, it plays anything on my phone and charges it as well. I did though load up an 8 gig thumb drive with music which give me mega hours of listening. As other reviews stated, the menu is a bit confusing at first but not terribly. As far as the remote control goes, my first thought was who would use the remote while driving but as it turns out I use it all the time. I originally had an appointment with the Geek Squad for installation but couldn't wait so I installed it myself. My salesman set me up with all the necessary items needed to install it in my 2012 Altima. Thanks to google, I must say the install was easy. It took about two hours but that was because I chose to solder the wires on the wire harnesses instead of crimp ons. The only install issue I had was poor FM reception. Back to google only to find that I had to install the blue wire from the antenna adapter I purchased to the blue/white wire (labeled P Cont.) on the Kenwood harness. Evidently my antenna is equipped with an antenna booster which needs 12 volts. If you are thinking about purchasing this deck but can't decide, take my word for it and just buy it you'll love it. PS if you are wondering why I only rated it a 4 if I love it so much it's because I never give anything a 5.

The Kenwood KDC-BT555U is a great value, providing a siginificant improvement in sound quality over the stock head-unit in my wife's Mazda 3. Installation was easy, taking about 30 minutes total including soldering. The sound quality for phone calls over bluetooth is fairly impressive. Calls are clear without introducing any significant background noise. I would say the calls are clearer than the OEM bluetooth in my Volkswagen. A2DP Bluetooth sound quality is as good. There is really nothing out of the ordinary with this deck. It's a basic unit, but a solid performer. I would highly recommend purchasing if this falls within your price point

Good price, compatibility with all major sound file formats including MP3 and AAC playable on CDs and USB Flash Drive. Sounds great; choice of many lighting colors. Lots of audio control settings to really dial in your sound. Excellent compatibility with iPhone -- including Bluetooth audio (great to audiobooks) and Pandora Radio. Integrated hands-free phone system also works great with iPhone. Overall a great unit -- highly recommended.

Works great and is good quality and a lot of features for the price. Easy to install I self installed it in my moms Mitsubishi eclipse gst. Bluetooth works great and good quality with an easy iPod iPhone hook up in the front.

Christmas gift for my boyfriend. His factory radio - the cd portion did not not, so i bought this. He and I both love it! It comes with a remote to easily browse music and change the volume. Plays MP3, regular cds, and easily plays music on cells phones. We have tried a windows phone and a samsung android, the s3 and it syncs wonderfully for both phone types. It has a multi changing color for the face plate or you can set it to remain on one color.IT has a usb port on the face with a small window you can use to cover it up, which i think is a great feature to keep dust out. I haven't tried pandora yet, but looking to do that soon. You don't really need the manual to work it. It very simple. I love it so much I am going to buy one for my car in the next few weeks!

Radio is awesome sounds great and is easy to use This car radio is exactly what I needed. The Bluetooth-Enabled function makes using my stereo for calls very easy. Also able to listen to my music downloaded from Pandora, etc...listening on my car speaker with no cable attached a breath.

I purchased this to use in an older truck I bought. The unit was easy to install and is very easy to use. I actually found it to be easier to set up than OEM bluetooth systems that have come in newer vehicles I own. The bluetooth for phone calls works great and teh streaming music from my Rhapsody account on my phone worked like a charm the first time. Quick and easy connection and great sound. The only thing I don't understand is why it comes with a remote. Maybe if it were to be installed in the back of a limousine? Great unit and controls are easy to use if you remember to use the return button to navigate. I chose this over others for control over the display brightness which I read others weren't as good at. I am not disappointed and will probably get another for a project vehicle I am working on.

This car stereo is an excellent value. Great price, loaded with features, and the sound is great. It was a very easy install and obviously the sound difference was immediate! The hands free calling and Bluetooth is incredible and was really the deciding factor for me because I was getting this for my daughters vehicle.

I wanted to upgrade to a stereo with the usb feature. This unit gave me more than I expected with all the features. Ipod ease of use is great, I like how you can link more than one phone to the unit. Very easy to install if you have basic knowledge of what to do.

Was looking for a receiver that will pick up all of the SiriusXM channels to replace my receiver that only picked up the Sirius channels. But once I got it, the hands free calling and the bluetooth audio to play internet audio made this receiver an excellent deal. I can't quite give it 5 stars because the clock is not always active. You have to choose between having the clock on the display or song/station information.

After dealing with a dilapidated stock radio in my 1999 Toyota 4Runner for several years, I decided to get this Kenwood unit. It is even nicer than I thought it would be! You've got Radio, iPod, USB, Pandora, SiriusXM, Bluetooth Phone Sync and much more in a unit under $200!

The Bluetooth and overall quality of sound added to the system have surpassed what I thought I would get. Haven't read the directions so finding some of the features is a small task. Overall , I love it. Next I'm adding a Rear view mirror w/ back-up cam and navigation.

I installed this radio in a '88 Nissan 300zx. I mainly bought it because I needed a radio that can handle phone calls easily and efficiently, and it does all that. My only worry is the longevity of the faceplate connector - my car is a Ttop, so I remove the plate several times a day... The little plastic hooks look feeble and easily slide in wrong, it's a matter of practice - though I would recommend to look at this closely.

Love the stereo. It was a Christmas gift. It took about an hour to install since I have an older car and didn't have an updated wiring harness. Love the hands free phone feature. Love the USB port for charging my phone plus then I can access iTunes. The only down side is I'm not able to access iTunes with the Bluetooth feature.

Bought this for my son's car. I like the bluetooth and he does too. He can answer a call without taking his eyes off the road (main reason i bought one with bluetooth). He has it synched with his iphone and plays his Itunes through the stereo. He loves it!

Radio is awesome sounds great and is easy to use. The 1 line of viewable text makes it tough to tune the sat radio bit other than that its killer.

I had a earlier model Kenwood that I was happy with but wanted Bluetooth for streaming audio ... which this model featured. Install was easy since both models shared the same chasis. This model also comes with a microphone I mounted on the non-moving neck of my steering wheel ... a vast improvement over previous model which featured a built-in mic that worked horribly. I have to use the remote control to tune the radio but that is not a huge problem. Bluetooth audio pairs easy to my mobile devices so no more cords and cables ... unless a passenger want to charge their phone through the unit's USB port - very helpful. Kids like the changing illumination colors.

I put this radio in my new wakeboard boat and just love it. Sounds great. The bluetooth is really nice to have. I also installed the SirrusXM so I have all the music and sports I need.

I'm really impressed with this stereo - I love the hands-free phone feature and enjoy being able to access my books and music directly from my phone using the Bluetooth feature (or auxiliary connection). I haven't used the USB port for music yet, but I plan to!
