Idk if it was installed wrong but it sounds okay..... I like the features but its too difficult to cycle through the sources.

When the radio is on the fringe of digital and analog it has to much gap so lines are repeated.Very annoying. I am debating on returning this unit since this the second Kenwood to do this. Best Buy does not have a big selection of HD radios and 45 miles to exchange. Keeping this in analog mode defeats the purpose of Digital radio.

I have to remove the faceplate and press the system reset button then set all the audio controls again. It may then play 5 minutes or 2 days before having to do this again.

This unit rocks! Purchased it for my wives Honda 2000 oddessy and installation was minimal. Did it myself with the HONDA ACURA HARNESS 98-09 SKU: 347146. Bolted right up to the bracket and all the wires on harness matched right up. Unit is powerful and easy to use. I know because I have a sony and a pioneer also in other vehicles. This System kicks. Lilke has powerful sound and has easy natural to use setups. When you get a call the system shows your contact from phone list or else the number calling. The sounds for fm radio, Bluetooth audio and phone calls are excellent.

I love this deck as its easy to use, multi color, and has HD radio + Bluetooth. For the $180 its a steal. I just wish it had muti lines of text like the next deck up, how ever it didn't have keys 1-6 like this one to change the station fast, which I wanted. Also don't like how you can't have the clock showing and the sone title/station. its one or the other, But very happy with my purchase. My 1st one installed by best buy didn't work, drained my battery the first night, they tried to say it wasn't the radio. We put the old one back in, then it didn't drain, ended up swapping for another one and haven't looked back since. it was just a pain in the butt with time and arguing.

Awesome head unit easy to operate and quality of sound is awesome. Kenwood stereos is all I've ever owned and if you purchase this unit you'll know why kenwood is the best.

Great stereo for the price. Got it for my dad last year and he loves the hands free bluetooth for his phone, the Pandora, and he won't stop raving about the HD radio.

You would get better sound quality from a high school PA system. To make any adjustments you have to go through too many directories. There is nothing intuitive about the system, file names have no real meaning so you have to try, guess and guess again until you stumble onto the area you needed. With all the program files you have to sort through you think there is more to the system. Its a complete train wreck. The "instruction manual" may as well be toilet paper Now the sound quality. This unit makes my ears bleed! By worst sounding unit ever created! The AM radios from the 60s sounded better and its not from not dialing it in. I drive at least 500 miles a day alone and I have tried for the last 3 days to find its sweet spot but I am throwing in the towel on this one. If I only had stock speakers I could blame part of it on that but I am running Polk Audio components and Infinity Kappa series 6 x 9s. They sound great on the old Sony head unit I am replacing but I wanted to add BT for the hands free calling. I won't bore you with my impression of this worthless remote other that unless its pointed direct in front of the unit straight at it, don't bother. Bottom line : This unit is being flushed! I am taking it back and starting over

I drive a honda cr v 2010. and 1 out of 5 times starting the car the radio would not power up. and i had to hit the reset button or correct radio. until after a couple times starting the car it stopped powering up again. replaced the radio din with a new one and the same problem. called kenwood and they stated to replace the din or radio. poor reception. with this radio I losted station reception range. i had to drive almost 20 miles toward the station broadcast center before i could start picking up the station. sound was a bit off. base was to strong over the voicals even when adj eq. bought a pioneer and all above problems corrected.
