This is a great amplifier. It offers everything you need to push 500+ watts RMS and is an extremely well built amplifier. I have Alpine, Pioneer and Kenwood amplifiers, and I have to say the Kenwood are my favorite next to the Alpine amps. They do not exhibit noise which I have experienced with a few older pioneer amps I have owned. The finish is all metal which is also a big plus for me, because there are a lot of amp out there made with plastic, and just gives the product a cheap look and feel. These are also audibly louder when I compare them to some of my other monoblock amps, and I definitely set my gains with a digital multimeter. I was very impressed with Kenwoods Kac-m3004, I ended up purchasing X501-1, X301-4, KAC-314 and the KAC-511. I can definitely attest that Kenwood’s amplifiers get better with every new generation amplifier they release. And the newer amplifiers are Hi-Res Audio (higher S/N ratio and frequency response) certified, which is a plus when you compare all the amps in this price range of amplifiers.

For the price, I don't think you can find better class D mono amp for your subwoofer with 500 watts RMS at 2 Ohm. It has been rock solid for months. I'm driving a Kicker CompR 12" in a ported box with it. Feels sturdy and the included bass remote knob is a plus, albeit simple but does the job. Though it's rated at 500 watts RMS at 2 Ohm, I feel that it actually is putting out more (I don't have proof as I've not tested this, just going by experience).

This app is perfect for my 1987 Toyota extra cab running a 12 Subwoofer it's pretty loud the base is perfect loud comfortable with it.

I have 12” kicker and this amp is perfect for it i recommend this amp for a single speaker use

This little amp puts out power and hits the lows!!! Running 1 12" kicker comp in a 1.2 cube box and WOW, clean and tight. Make sure to tune and check voltage, it will deliver!!!!!

Actually puts out 600 watts rms and thumps a 12” kicker sub I bought. Great power and comes with adjustable bass knob. Also has high input option for factory set ups. Probably the best bang for your buck Best Buy carries

Has the Power and thump to do the job. Very easy to install and set-up as well.

I'm not sure if my RCA levels are just whack but this amp doesn't provide anywhere close to 500 watts unless you crank the gain all the way up. Setting the gain as it's supposed to be for my headunit, which is 4V, pushes almost no power. The screw terminals are a little annoying and require you to have ring terminals for your power/ground and speaker outs. I also wish there were more controls like a variable subsonic filter and a variable bass boost.

Paired this little amp with a single 12” Kicker Comp R in my ‘09 Tahoe, and let me tell you — it flat-out surprised me. I figured it’d get the job done, but this thing woke up the sub in a big way. Clean power, no overheating, and way more thump than I was ready for. Easy install, simple tuning, and it hasn’t missed a beat yet. Not trying to win any competitions, but if you want real-deal bass without emptying your wallet, this amp punches way above its weight class.

Excellent product. Paired perfectly with a 10" Alpine S series sub. It runs cool and sounds great. Perfect if you want decent power on a smaller sub.

This was replacing an well used, much loved, but broken Alpine MRP-M500 and it brought my bass back to life. Perfect replacement and the remote volume knob was not a feature I have had before, but it's great for when you want to turn down/ up the woofers without changing anything else EQ wise.

Andreas and Z in car audio are outstanding. Best customer service and always looking to give the best advice for best audio. I keep coming back because of them. However, from consumer, it is clear that BestBuy doesn’t care about the car audio business… they have nothing in stock, for two years now. They never have the wires, boxes, subs and amps in stock. To get $1,000 audio sale, the customer has to make an appointment just to review all of the materials needed that you all won’t have in stock. Then the customer has to purchase everything (I had to buy wiring stuff from Amazon). We have to wait 5-7 days for it all to come. Then we need another appointment for customer to change their schedule around to come in and get started. If there’s one thing missed or a problem comes up-GOODLUCK they won’t have the part. Then we start over at step 1 (see above) lol it’s a joke. Your installs bay and audio shelves inside are half empty.

The Kentwood amp was a great buy. The price was awesome and the amp made all the difference in the sound of the music. Looks nice also. Easy to hook up. I’d recommend this product.

This amp is a thing of beauty, high quality materials and a sturdy design in a compact package from what I can tell. I have this mounted underneath the front passenger seats of a Scion tC and it fits easily. The power you get when pairing with a subwoofer at 2ohms (500 watt rms) is perfect and provides plenty of power (more than enough since my subwoofer is 400 watt rms). Overall, I highly recommend it at this price point. For best practice, I recommend using 4 gauge wire for this over 8 gauge to flawlessly deliver power to the amp.

Needed a replacement for another burned out Amp. This one plugged right into the old spot. It's not as powerful but for the price, it works well.
