I installed this camera in my wife's car a few days ago, and so far, I'm impressed with the video quality. Packaging: The packaging is attractive and well-built. There are two boxes inside, one for each camera. The package is easy to open and includes all the necessary accessories. Installation: Attaching the camera to the windshield is easy, but running the wire along the edge of the windshield and hiding it under the car’s upholstery is not. The wire attachment stickers are too bulky and not well-designed for discreet placement. Once the wires are connected and the power is plugged in, the camera turns on right away. Navigating the camera menu: It takes some time to get used to the menu navigation and to figure out what each button does. A better design would be to switch the power and rear camera outlets to the right, and bring the buttons to the left, making them more visible to the driver. iOS App: I downloaded the app on my phone and was able to connect to the camera via Bluetooth. However, playing videos on my phone was slow, often resulting in a frozen single image instead of a smooth video. Overall: I bought this camera for protection and to have evidence in case of accidents or vandalism. So far, I haven’t needed to use it for that purpose, and I hope I never will. That said, I feel more secure having this dashcam. I would recommend it, especially for use in busy cities or for inexperienced drivers.

The resolution and image quality during daylight is amazing. Havent had a chance to test out the low light performance. The main cam is 4k and rear is 1440. I haven’t got the rear cam mounted yet but is just a single cord and double face tape. It does come with a micro sd card but it is hard to remove and put back in, but should not need to when using the app!

This dual dash front and rear camera is very compact and provides great video quality for day and night recording. Easy to install and the wireless connection to your smartphone is helpful.

I bought the DRV-A610WDP for my car, and it’s been great so far. Setting it up was really easy—just plug it in, and you’re all set. The app is simple to use, which makes checking the footage really convenient. Both the front and rear cameras have excellent image quality, even at night. I also like that it comes with a 64GB micro SD card, so I didn’t have to buy that separately. One thing to note: if you want it to record while your car is off, you’ll need extra wires. The rear camera installation was easy, but managing the extra wire was a little tricky. Overall, it’s a solid dash cam combo that offers a lot for the price.

Not the smallest on the market but was much smaller than I initially anticipated. I opted for the Geek Squad installation and it took nearly 2hr but was well worth it in the end to have the camera look and perform seamlessly for me. Required the additional hardware kit, but worth it to have the automatic on/off and additional recording while away. Only con was that I seem unable to update the firmware to the rear camera - but was able to for the front camera. I think when I updated the front that the rear was automatically updated but it doesn't reflect this in the app. Instead it kept saying I was unable to connect via WIFI, despite being on my home network, restarting both the camera and app several times, and turning off phone data on/off. All that combined has me thinking the app software itself is just a little goofy, but I haven't had any issues recording anything or having any serious problems so I drop a star for kinda shoddy app software. Excellent build quality and camera, however! I have had a truly surreal experience with law enforcement before where having a dashcam installed would have come well handy, so that was my main focus buying a dashcam unit. So impressed with the professional installation that I went and bought a radar detector to have installed after this was done. Thanks Best Buy!

I upgraded my dash cam to this Kenwood after my last one died. I wanted something with more reliable software and a rear camera, as well as a front camera. After getting into an accident where we disagreed on who was at fault, I installed cameras in all the cars. Like most other cameras, it struggles to pick up license plates. However, the recordings are clear, and it has worked every day, which is the vital thing. The menu and app are easy to understand, and no frills, exactly what you want in a menu and app like this. Easy to get into, do what you want, and get out. Overall, I recommend this camera, as it works reliably every day and doesn't require constant adjustments or reformatting, unlike some other models I've used. I recommend using a larger micro SD card with it, and be sure to buy a micro SD card designed for dash cams that can be written over many times, as the basic ones will fail after a while. Other than that, everything is in the box. The installation varies by car. I recommend a hardwire kit for a cleaner look, and if you're not comfortable doing the installation, Geek Squad will do a good job. Other than that, the installation consists of pushing cables up into the roof panel, it was the same as any other dash cam.

My friend started working in insurance and hearing all of her horror stories made me decide to get some cameras for my car! These dash cams are really nice! I was worried originally when I saw how thick the instructions were, but quickly realized its because they have the instructions for a BUNCH of different languages which i always appreciate :) it certainly took some tinkering to get the cameras installed ‘just so’ and to have the chord *semi* hidden, but in the end decided would rather have a chord running through my car than be declared at fault for an accident I genuinely didnt cause! Please note also that SD cards are not included. I had to run to the store to grab some after ordering this!

This product is very easy to install with the back and front facing caneras plugging into your cars outlet with the wires tucked into your cars panels. It is also a nice feature that the camera will automatically turn on when you start your car, and turn off when the ignition is turned off to save power. The 4k dashcam has a better image quality over the HD version. This is a must buy if you have just recently bought a vehicle.

I love how effective this camera works, both the front and rear end. The picture quality is almost perfect. I can see everything without much blur while driving. I also love how compact it is. It doesn't take up much space in the front, so I can still see the road and not be distracted by the camera. The fact that it comes with a 64GB SD card is a plus as well.

Pros:Loves the video quality of this 4kdashcam. It works great at night with slight troubles if the car around you are not surrounded by a street light. The back camera quality is great as well but sometimes shows them closer than they actually are. It does come with a 64gb micro SD storage. Cons: setting this dashcam up took about 45mins due to trying to find a way to hide the back camera wiring and then makinf them sync but once setup it worked great. I wish it did a little better at night with the video quality but I don't drive at night much so it wouldn't be that bad.

The install at Best Buy Eagan took just over an hour, and camera set up was less than five minutes. The video picture for both cameras is clear & sharp, and it just works. It makes a small chime when I turn the car on, otherwise it's mostly out of site. The camera uses the lighter attachment for power which isn't a problem since it isn't used for anything else. Hopefully, I will never *need* it for anything other than capturing spectacular things I see on road trips, but I have the peace of mind that it's recording should the need arise.

This is a great combo dashcam. For the price, it includes rear cakera as well as all tools needed and a 64gb micro sd card for recordings. I would say it is a solid buy. However, you will need wires if you are planning to keep recorsing all the time while car is off.

The service was great. The young man took care of me and made sure that everything was going to be the straightened out with the refund and ordering my dash cam camera for my daughter and he spoke to his manager and they were able to straighten things out so I’m very very pleased. Will go back again!!!!

NOT easy to use. Menus not intuitive to use. Hardwired installed to vehicle by BB. The display behind the cam sometimes turns on or off randomly depending on what other apps your using with the vehicle. Dont know if it’s recording when driving or not. App for wireless access with phone is unstable, Very slow when it does connect wirelessly. The app is poorly developed. Had difficultly accessing downloads. Instructions are lacking in specifics. There is not much content available on You-Tube at the moment for this specific model that’s worth learning much about the product.

High priced cheap product.Do not purchase, waste of time and money.

We got this for our 2023 Honda Accord. I originally went with a Rexing Dash Cam, but when the Best Buy Installer went to place it, it was just way too big and cumbersome. This one has more features, an integrated GPS signal, 4k, and is a fraction of the size. It hides so nicely behind the rearview mirror, much better than I anticipated. The app is also easier than others from competitors, and is super quick to connect to your phone after you set it up. I definitely recommend this dash cam and the best buy install.

I bought two models at the same time, the DRV-610 for my car and another for my family. Setting them up was a breeze, just plug them in, and you're good to go. The app is super easy to use with a simple and clean design. So far, I’ve only tried the DRV-610 plus the Rear Cam, and I’m really impressed with the image quality from both the front and rear cameras.

I started off with the entry level drv 310 variant which although reasonably good I figured why not go for the top dog version. Physical specs are the same, so a simple swap of the new unit onto existing mount. Image quality is superb, and night time fairly useable. The rear camera if anything is more of a challenge to figure out where the generous excess wire can fit versus the unit itself. With maximum exposure setting, captures just fine through darkest rear tint allowed in Texas. Overall quite pleased, only odd note with me is that I elect to use a large power bank for constant power mode when I feel appropriate versus patching into the factory power lines/fuses. No complaints related to the install or overall use and capability

Christmas present for my grandson. Great quality picture ,easy to use and puts my mind at ease.

This product is just amazing! Both cameras work perfectly and The Best buy team was just great at helping me pick out the right one. I feel safer already!
