It lasted me forever. It finally died last year and took me all of this time to decide to get another. This one is smaller and definitely brews a better stronger cup of coffee! I use strong brew option but even without it it's great! It doesn't take up much space. No complaints at all.

Having to add water each time isn't super convenient if you want to use it often - it only holds enough for one cup. I've also had one time where it didn't brew at all - but that might've been a fluke. I still like it and use it at my office.

A little hard to figure out the first time with the amount of water to put in, but once you get the hang of it, you will love it. Also is super quiet when it's warming up so at first we thought it was defective. But once we figured out the nuances we loved it!
