Great Bass even though I'm running from a factory stereo via line-out converter. I would probably get much better sound with an aftermarket deck with built-in pre-amp outputs, i guess I'll find out later. I did a quick & dirty install since I don't plan on keeping my car for very long and wanted to migrate this system to my eventual upgrade. Installed in my 2010 Subaru Legacy, you can see in the picture about how much space it takes up in the trunk. Still plenty of room for groceries and things. Though I couldn't fit a folding bike which was kind of a bummer but oh well. Only con is that I wish it had came with a grill to protect the sub. They're not that expensive though.

It sounds amazing! My son loves it. The sub sounds just right and goes along with the other speakers we purchased. And our salesman Marco was a great help.

This sub is pretty amazing, it sounds great in my jeep. I just prefer two tens instead of the one 12.

This is what I would consider an entry level subwoofer, used primarily just to add some bass to your system. No accoustic fidelity

I researched this sub for hours before making a purchase. I wanted a powerful setup which would not take my entire trunk. I opted for one 12" subwoofer. The RMS is rated at 500 watt continuous power due to the kicker ported enclosure. The sub if purchased alone is rated at 800 RMS which is misleading and hard to understand why kicker would market in this fashion. I purchased the KX 800.1 amp - rated at 950RMS out of the box pushing this sub. I had the Best Buy installer do the wiring - also a kicker 1400 watt max wiring kit. I have had it installed for 3 days and it sounds great. I was worried the amp would be too powerful but so far it has been fine. I looked at several forums in which I found having a more powerful amp to a sub will not damage the sub as long as the gains are set adequately. Overall the look and sound to this sub is great. If it holds up I would recommend this sub in the future.

kicker are known for there subwoofer. great price and awesome sound for the price, also compact for trunk space

This 12 inch subwoofer comes preinstalled in an enclosure specifically designed by kicker to get the most sound from the sub. It's tuned and ported and delivers gobs of clean bass. My old box had two twelve's and this single blows them away. Truly impressive distortion free car shaking bass. No matter the price this is the best you can get. Unless you get the double but trust me, you wont need it, the single rocks.

I was very impressed with the bass output from this single sub. I generally go way overboard with my car audio system and have 4+ subs pulling a lot of juice from multiple amps. Put this in my 2015 Willys and it sounds awesome. Fits perfect in the back.

Ok... This is a deep impact, total bass immersion that hits hard and moves your hair...or dial it down for a deep, rich sound without the shake rattle and roll. Well built, looks great and handles any kind of music. What are you waiting for? Go buy one already. It is worth the money.

I'm a metal head myself and all I wanted for a sub was something to give me that little extra depth to my music with lower bass drums and notes. I was surprised to hear how well it handled this type of music. It made a very clear and smooth bass depth. Perfect for anyone wanting more cleaner lows to their music.

This subwoofer was added to a 2012 ford escape with a alpine mrv-m500 amp. I used the line level inputs from amp and this box hits hard. Better than expected, loud strong bass.. Perfect as an addition to factory system or an upgraded deck.

More than enough bass! Not going to win competitions... But you will make the neighbors mad!

Bought these a week ago and have to say I am impressed! They hit SO hard and SO clean. Have them paired with a 1500 watt rms monoblock pioneer amp running them at 1 ohm. I HIGHLY recommend these to anyone.

Bought this speaker with the same brand amp and had it installed at Best Buy. Sounds great and not to Loud like I wanted. Turned the gain down so it just gives the right sound for me

Bought two of these for my car and so far I have blown 2. Not the subs fault but the installer who set them at 1ohms a piece. Other than that when their not blown the sound great.

If you are looking for some good bass in your trunk without taking up your whole trunk with two subwoofers...this is a great buy
