I am not sure of the "great bass" reviews, because I found that to be the one area this speaker is lacking. Great for vocals and highs through! Get's much louder than factory without distortion. You need a sub though.

Adds Range & Bass Over Stock Speakers

Adds bass and frequency range is better than stock. Using original head unit and no adverse affects. Mounting depth is greater than stock so spacer rings are suggested.
