To rate a single speaker in any environment is ridiculous, so I'll give you my environment: (08 F-150 Harley Davidson edition) and my set up: (R.Fosgate Punch 300.4 4-channel amp connected to Kicker CS Series 40CSS684 6 x 8 speakers []front door] and Kicker 40CS684 6 x 8 [back door], Kicker 40CWRT81 8 inch DVC 1 ohm sub connected to a Kicker monoblock sub amp 12CX3001. Of course this setup will sound better than the Ford factory setup. Way better. There is a certain clarity with these that I'm satisfied with for the price. But my ears have certainly heard better. However, these are still really good speakers. For around 600 dollars, this is a really good setup for a truck where all the components are inside the cabin. Huge subs are not really a necessity this way, but if you wanna BTBD then to each his/her own. FWIW, Bestbuy price matches with crutchfield.com, who often have lower prices. This way you won't have to wait or pay for shipping. Another word on the Rockford Fosgate amp- it's really, really small. I was able to remove my factory sirius satellite module (useless with aftermarket radio) and stash the amp right in its place behind the dash right under the radio.
