Maybe my expectations was a little high, I felt they where reasonable. I used these to replace the two door speakers. I use no amp or subwoofer. I was hoping to get a slight increase in bass, just a slight. My factory speakers was possible tuned to the factory deck but these was bad, just bad. Factory speakers made car feel lively. These feel flat. I regret getting them or maybe I'll just now buy an amp.

I am not an easy sell on anything concerning my vehicle, especially when it comes to my music. I researched extensively before I decided on the Kicker CS694. I visited audio shops and consulted with their resident pros, read review after review on the web, considered every possible brand and style you could imagine. They're not the most expensive nor are they the highest quality available, however, for the head unit I have (Stock 8" LCD in my 2014 RAM 2500 Bighorn) and the money I wanted to spend upgrading, these speakers just kept coming out on top. So… I finally settled on them and Best Buy for professional installation. I am glad I did. The sound I now have is awesome, crystal clear highs and midrange with sharp bass that doesn’t override the rest of the sound. No warble, no rumble or rattle just clear beautiful music from hard rock to country… Dylan to Kid Rock, Metallica to Randy Travis… I am an old-school steriophile that hates to spend a lot of money on equipment but loves high quality sound and I am more than satisfied with these speakers.

These replaced my factory 6*9. And I'm very disappointed. These sounds flat, I got to turn volume on factory deck all the way up. Prior with my original speakers, it felt loud and a lot of bass. I thought these would improve it, I was Sally disappointed when it did not
