Purchased to fill in the lost low end sounds from a 2025 Blazer EV (Standard GM 6 speaker system) - that missing range from 20-100Hz (absent deep bass). Adjusted Kicker - crossover at 80HZ (Midway), 3db bass boost, Gain (midway) and it works perfectly. Clear reinforced low end sound which is exactly what I wanted. This is not the setup you want if you are trying to blowup cars and houses around you when you drive by - but to restore the low end to even the response curve - perfect. Clear, no distortion, and just enough boost to slightly feel the lowest end bass - that feeling completely missing from stock audio system. Happy Camper

Compact fits anywhere very powerful, small device and big sound easy to install

I purchased the Kicker HS10 as an upgrade from the 8" (HS8) model. I recently got a new car and found that the extra cabin room wasn't doing the HS8 any favors, so I decided to move up to the HS10. I'm glad I did. It sounds great and it's hard to beat at its price point. The cool thing about Kicker's Hideaway series is they've made it very easy to upgrade. It literally takes only 5 seconds because it is as simple as unplugging the cable, swapping the sub for the new one and connecting the cable. That's it! The low profile design of Kicker's Hideaway Series means can pretty much put it anywhere in your vehicle (under a seat, behind a seat, in the trunk, etc) and you won't have to sacrifice precious space for a huge subwoofer.

I was a little tentative about purchasing a small, enclosed, powered sub like this. In the past, I invested some good money into car stereo systems, but this time around I wanted to improve the overall sound, but no longer need it to get obnoxiously loud or pound like crazy. This sub has been a perfect fit so far. It's small enough to take up very little room in my Gladiator, while still providing enough bass to fill out the music and even provide a little thump. If you are looking to improve your sound system and have a tight space, this could very easily be your answer.

Great addition if you are wanting some bass without shaking the windows. Relatively easy to install and very compact. Great sound quality.

This subwoofer has a nice rich sound. It is not overpowering, but it provides a nice addition to a factory sound system. One of my friends has already bought one for himself. Most people that I have spoken with didn't know that you could get that much sound out of something so small, and that is easily concealable.

The Kicker HS10 is a great underseat subwoofer for the price when it’s on sale. Compared to 3 other name brand underseat subs that I’ve used, this one is a definite winner. The HS10 shares a similar footprint to other 8” subs but has much better output. The output is a little more than filling the rest of the lowend frequencies rather than bass you can really feel. If you have more space for a powered 8” ported enclosure sub and are willing to spend more money, there are some options out there that can deliver way more that can be felt. However, that wasn’t my goal here and this more than satisfied my expectations. It also is very well-built and has a very efficient class D amp which draws very little current. The included wiring kit is a plus but it should be noted that there is no RCA inputs and an inexpensive speaker wire to RCA adapter (doesn’t have to be Kicker brand) is required.

Your opinion of this subwoofer will greatly depend on your expectations. This will not shake your windows. It will not make you the cool guy cruising through your neighborhood shaking peoples homes. This is merely to add depth to your listening experience. I put this in a 2017 F150 XLT super crew. It adds a lot to my listening experience. Gives a lot fuller sound than not having a subwoofer. There are tons of YouTube videos and forum posts to show you how to hook this up and get it working. If you’re wanting to be seen and heard by other vehicles on the road, put in a legitimate amplifier and subwoofers. If you want to have a more immersive sound just for your own enjoyment, this works great.

This is my first hideaway sub. I used to have dual 12 inch with a 2000 watt amy but for my new truck I wanted something easy to hide and still give more bass then doors alone and this does not disappoint, it's not going to rattle your windows but if your looking for the nice deep bass notes to actually hit. This works.

Easy to install when hooking up to the factory speaker wire. There are no RCA plugs, but kicker makes an adapter. As for the subwoofer itself, I put it my civic daily driver and provides ample amount of bass for my liking. I listen to a little bit of everything but mainly countr for reference. The bass control knob is perfect for finding the right amount of bass and gives the option to essentially turn it off. I have had two similar setups that were from less reputable brands than Kicker and this sub outperforms them, hands down.

Added the bass i needed for my jeep. It fits perfect under the passenger seat and you can barely see it with the doors off. Highly recommend.

Puts out some solid bass for such a small box. Great sound, built in amp makes it easy to wire up. Easy to setup and solid box allows for many mounting options.

Very smooth and powerful for its small size. Easy install, and has a strong enough case that I wouldn’t be afraid for groceries or something to get sat on it by accident. Considering purchasing another one just for a little more punch.

This is best for a specific case like under seat subs. The bass is good for being so shallow but does lack in the lower frequencies. It’s nice for trucks due to its low height.

Its got some punch to it. I'm thinking I may want to add a second one. Only thing is when I turned the bass boost up I feel like I may be pushing it too hard, but I'm still getting used to the settings.

Amazing added the bass I needed with out taking up my trunk space. I would definitely recommend.

Not loud or as thumpy as a box but fits perfect under my jeeps seat and sounds very clear

Fantastic. I liked it so much I bought another one 2 months later. In hindsight I probably should've just got a set of 10s in a box with a dedicated amp, but I never planned on wanting anything more than adding the one sub to my stock stereo and speakers. A year later I've got 2 kicker hideaways, 2 kicker ks 6x9s in the front doors, 2 kickers KS 6.5s in the rear doors, 2 kicker ks 2.75s in the dash, and 2 amps. Now I'm broke.

I am not going to lie, I had my doubts. I gave the subwoofer a shot though and it works great. Yes it is not a giant 12 inch in a huge box. But for the size of it, it is very good. Gives me just enough bass. Wiring is also very simple and straight forward.

This replaced my 8” kicker. Bolted right into the same holes so was super easy swap. Sounds and looks great.
