played often in our house, def in top 10 rotated games

The visuals were great! It was interesting using the touch pad for game play and the use of the speaker on the controller was intuitive. Not the most action packed shooter out there, but it was a great step into the next generation of game play. The single player campaign had a variety of tasks spread throughout. It was certainly a new experience for the Killzone series.

This is the best Killzone game that I have ever played. The graphics on the game are amazing. You are able to control the character with ease. The incooporation of the touchpad gives the player gives the player easy access of the character's capabilities. The is also an expansion pack for the game that can be purchased online. Also you are able to play the game online in multiplayer against other gamers. The story line completes the game.

This is a good shooter game, but like many shooter games, it is pretty short. I played this on the weekend and beat it. That annoyed me. The game play and story line is really good and if you buy this used or on sale you will be happy with your purchase.

Ok game, could use a map to give you direction. Slow moving.

I was a little skeptical of the new Killzone game after playing the third in the series. I was really disappointed with that game and was not quite sure I wanted to spend the money because I did not like the direction the series was going. But I just so happened to pick it up on sale for $19.99 and I'm glad that I did. For being a launch title, I can't complain. The graphics are beautiful, the voice acting is decent, and the combat style is very similar to the other games in the series. Although it is not a game that personally made me feel like, "Wow!". . .it is still a game worth playing. There isn't much to the storyline but it is still entertaining.

KillZone Shadowfall has some of the prettiest graphics for an FPS. The mission locales are varied and provide wonderful views. The gameplay also has a few highpoints (the train station and within new helghan) as a shooter, but there are also other areas which deviate from a standard FPS -- namely zero-gravity or freefall missions which are not as fun as the rest of the game. Still a great buy with a good story that continues the story of the prior three games through a different perspective.

For a first PS4 game, the game shows off the graphics and utilizes the touch pad on the Dual Shock 4. The story of the game is not that compelling and the weapons used are not that futuristic other than the drone. There is one nice surprise in the story but it would be a spoiler to reveal. Online Multiplayer works well.

There are many mixed reviews with this game. I personally play plenty of FPS (first person shooters) and consider important both story and gameplay. First off, the game looks amazing, arguably the best one out there. The detail and scenery is jaw-dropping -I know I sound really biased right now but when you play this game it's just beautiful to watch. FPS games do not always excel on story, but I really had fun with this game. I won't talk about the story since I believe I can give too much away however, it's the kind of story that is not predictable and will get you by surprise. I love the gameplay, There is weight to the character while they move and the guns give you some variety as to how to tackle each situation. If you are fond of Call of Duty's pace for their character movement this might strike you as "slow". I would suggest to give it a chance. I truly believe this game is worth it.

KZ:SF carries on the tradition of the series since KZ2, providing great weapons that are entertaining to use, especially due to the soft body physics-based reactions of enemies and the stunning visuals surrounding you. The story setup following the end of KZ3 is intriguing, but the writing and scenarios you are put into doesn't really capitalize upon the potential.

Multi player is top notch graphics are vibrant. Single player is ok

First off wasn't a huge fan of the other killzone games due to the ridiculous number of shots to kill 1 enemy. That being said this game is awesome. The gameplay is more realistic and the storyline is really good.

I recently switched from 360 to ps4 and wanted to see what son's big exclusive shooter was like. Nice graphics and a decent story line. Game play style felt closer to a high tech call of duty than halo. Multiplayer was ok but didn't feel like anything special.

I have been a huge Killzone fan ever since the original launched on PS2. This is by far the most emersove, detailed and fun game of the series. Killzone has gone ahead of even themselves to bring a great game experience to the PS4. You don't have to play the previous 3 games in order to understand this game. The ISA and Helgans hate eachother. There is a wall dividing the two nations and it's all out war. The beauty of of effects in this game and innovations like "the owl," a personal flying drone that protects you, hacks for you, attacks for you and much more. Being able to strategize how you will distract enemies with the owl while you attack from another angle is some of the most fun within this game. Highly recommended!

As an adult very few games hold my attention. Regardless of the story line, I look for the game play to be varied - meaning that in real life it is impossible to approach two situations the same way...especially combat. Having said that, I find that Killzone Shadow Fall is an excellent first person shooter. This game requires careful analysis of the situation, a thoughtful approach to accomplish the objective and constant surveillance of the surroundings. While one objective might require an active shooter approach, another objective may require stealth. The enemies also seem to react intelligently to the character's movement making for a more challenging game.

I was surprised at how good this game is. I got it on sale and it was definitely worth the price. There are a lot of free Multiplayer maps as well. OVerall, it's a great game.

this is a good shooter for in between. i liked the story and graphics. sold action game but nothing special or completely new. but its still a fun game.

This game is a nice launch game to own for the PS4. It showcases the graphich fidelity the PS4 harnesses and the audio sounds good to boot. With that said, the single player campaign is a boring 6 hour shoot fest, as usual with FPS. But where this game shines is the online multiplayer. It provides some of the best multiplayer action on any console and has been fine tuned to have the gameplay run between the style of Call of Duty and Battlefield. Your player is no longer slow, sluggish, and heavy. And it's for the best. Won't say much else but to buy it and try it.
