    It is good to have faster flashdrives for specific purposes, and this one happened to have a good sale price. This is my first purchase of this name brand. I haven't used it yet, but I'm expecting good quality. I've had another Kingston device that has proved excellent quality for years now, so I'm hopeful this flashdrive will also serve me well. I'd recommend this, stating this caveat.

    I have not thoroughly compared the speed of the drive to 3.0 flash drives, but it is at least as fast as the 3.0 drives. It works with Linux operating systems as well as with Windows 10, and functions fine with a 2.0 USB port, although it is not as fast as when plugged in to a 3.0 USB port.

    I was able to transfer about 29 GB worth of data from one computer to another in a much faster time than some other flash drives! I like the simple design that you don't need a cap to protect it when you're not using it. You just simply pull it up!

    I love the design. Always know the right way to insert the USB with the red knob. Transfer speeds are fast with 3.0. Big improvement over 2.0

    Takes long time (6mb/s) to write, but lightning speed (100 mb/s) for reading - making it perfect for very large files but not so much for daily use
