This unit looks great and it’s replacing an older KitchenAid unit I have because I’m remodeling my kitchen. The last one I have was trouble free and hope to get the same experience with this unit. The unit looks great and appears to be well constructed.

Operates as expected and is simple and convenient.

This compactor is excellent! This is a newer version of one we have had for years. Although the price is a bit higher than others I have found that it works really well. Easy to install. I highly recommend this!

We remodeled our kitchen and purchased this Kitchen Aid compactor. This replaced our existing one which was over 25 years old and still functioning. They have improved it and it works great!

This unit is for a panel to be installed on front to match existing cabinets, It would be helpful if they sold a panel frame kit to go with the product. This was a replacement unit for one that was 15 years old, we used the old frame kit from the original and attached it to the new unit.

This has just been installed one week and seems to be working very well.

Like that it matches our kitchen, so far it’s working smoothly!

Beautiful and much quieter than my old compactor! Arrived earlier than projected which was a nice surprise and the Best Buy price was $100+ lower than other providers in the area.

Trash compactor works well. Stainless steel looks good.

Have used this compactor for two years now - no problems and no regrets for purchasing it. Saves trips out to the trash barrel and saves room in the landfill.

This is a really great trash compactor! I like the fact that it has a really sturdy handle in front. It’s really quiet in the compactor mode. My husband takes the bag out and he says it’s easy to take out and put in the new one. I really like the foot opening, it works so great. You barely have to push it down the get it open. I’m so happy with it!

overall, pretty good, Great they figured out to use a foot switch to compress rather than using your hand. The fan is noisier than expected as you can hear it all the time when closed.

Excited to finally have a trash compactor in our kitchen

Looks great compared to other brands. Very little black plastic on the front other than the foot petal to open the drawer.

We added the compactor to complete the new kitchen package. We love the handle design which makes it very easy to open and close, as well as keep the stainless steel front clean. Operation is simple and quiet.

This was a replacement of a very old compactor. It does squish things down very well. I wish it had an indicator of when it was in "solid compact" mode other than the door simply not opening. It would have been nicer to have a little panel at the top saying that, and replacing the big button at the bottom to turn it on. Mechanically it seems strong and effective.

Bought since my last one broke, which I had for 17 years, and loved. This one is not as well made and does not compact as well. The solid packed option does not seem to work. The foot pedal gets in the way of the door opening properly; a design flaw that Kitchen Aid needs to address.

This compactor was a replacement for a previous compactor. It is quieter and compacts with much more force than our previous unit.
