This toaster is different than any toaster I've owned. With electronic control and blue led indicator light it is very functional. It does a great uniform job toasting bread and bagels. You can cancel cycle at any time and it gently raises the toast. It is a little pricey.

The first two toasters did not toast bread evenly on each side. The results were almost as if I had pushed the 'BAGEL' button! I returned the 1st toaster to local Best Buy without any problems, and ordered the 2nd. That toaster did slightly better, but I've had much cheaper toasters do a better job. I decided to use the KitchenAid warranty provisions instead of traveling to our local Best Buy store. I called KitchenAid customer service for a replacement which was promptly received. Toaster #2 was returned with the prepaid UPS return label. Finally success! Toaster #3 is a keeper! PRO's: Attractive Design, Motorized Lift works great, KitchenAid Customer Service, Best Buy Customer Service CON's: Took 3 toasters to get one that toasts evenly...poor Quality Control at factory Toasters 1 and 2 would be rated 1 Star because of their performance. If one is fortunate to obtain a properly functioning toaster with the first purchase, I would rate this product with 5 Stars

We bought this because our old DeLonghi toaster for which we paid God only knows how much finally became utterly schizophrenic. Having just moved into a new house with all KitchenAid appliances, and seeing the price on this one being as low as it was (one of the cheapest toasters around), we figured what the hay, we'll try it out. It has been nothing short of the most accurate, predictable, and fully-featured toaster we've ever had. The only change I'd make is to get a four-holer, but that's not much of a complaint. This thing is better than awesome sauce! (P.S. I'm writing this review nearly a year after putting it into service - it's still just like the day we bought it!)

Looks good. Works well. Many features. Push button start.

We have needed a toaster for awhile. While shopping for a couple of other things noticed this on the shelf and liked the looks. The customer service rep was kind enough to plug it in to see how it looks in action. I find it beautiful, and more important does a great job on toasting! It's very pretty blue display is nice and I like the beep when it is done. Wish I would have bought it sooner.

This KitchenAid Toaster is Awesome. Very consistent from use to use. No more of that jolting clunk, the toast and bagels gently rise up when done. The price was also a good deal, I have seen this same toaster go for as much as $139.00. A great bargain.

The Toaster is good, goes down automatically and does not show its burning red hot like others but does the job.

I love this toaster. Love the motorized lift mechanism, the bells that sound when toast is done (never had that before) and everything is toasted to perfection. I retired and like toast most days. I had to play around with level for browning to find the perfect shade, but for me it varies with different breads. I have nothing negative to say about this toaster and I have had plenty of them over the years. I simply love it!!

Fits just right on my counter. It is easy to adjust toasting number for bread and bagels.

I bought this toaster to match my Kitchen Aid kettle, and am happy that it has the same quality. It's simple, stylish and does the job.

No problems with the toaster so far, but it takes some experimentation to determine proper settings. I still haven't found the best setting for bagels yet. The LED screen is easy to read.

The toaster is very good. The motorized lift works great and the toast is very consistent. The visible countdown "timer" is accurate and a nice feature that allows you to know when the cycle will complete. Also looks very nice on our counter and matches well with our other appliances.

Love this toaster that matches my other stainless appliances. Toaster works great for any thickness and easy to use.

There is not much to say about a toaster, but this one works great...... I am very happy with my purchase.

This toaster works as expressed in all the documentation. It easy to use and also looks good on the kitchen counter. I would definitely recommend this toaster.

I love this toaster. It is a bit slow, but toasts very evenly and the bagel function is quite nice too. Matches nicely with my new kitchen appliances (went Kitchenaid for the whole kitchen).

The motorized feature is hands down the best part, so cool!

I am very pleased with this toaster. I have had toaster ovens for almost 20 years but this thing works wonderful.
