After reading MANY reviews I chose this Kitchenaid. It is very quiet and cleans the dishes really well. It is easy to load and the individual silverware slots make sure everything is equally clean. I also like the panel lights on the outside to see what stage of the wash you are in. The ProWash cycle seems really long, but most dishes are dry when it completes. There is an Express Wash setting if you are in a hurry. I highly recommend this item.

I really love this dishwasher it cleans like a beast and the appearance of it upgrades the look in your kitchen I am extremely happy and glad that I got the KitchenAid dishwasher

It has done a good job of cleaning and drying. Heated drying was a “must have” feature. Three issues: 1) it’s a bit noisier than I expected; 2) the top rack guides sounded and felt gritty. Kitchenaid replaced them under warranty, and they are now as good as I expected based on the showroom unit; and 3) there is a hot plastic/tar odor that is especially noticed when opening the door after a heated drying cycle. The repair man said that it is the insulation giving off the odor when it gets hot. He said it will dissipate with time, and it is getting better very gradually.

dishes and glasses come out clean and shiny, the machine is very quiet, only drawback is the machine can be accidentally turned on if somebody leans on it

My only point of comparison is to a 25 yr old Kenmore which this unit replaced, but the overall impression is that this KitchenAid cleans spotlessly, and runs very quietly. The only "issue" is that it does have a rather sensitive touch-button control panel, so a cycle can be activated by accidental contact. However, just becoming aware of this makes it less of an issue. Overall a very good unit.

This dishwasher does a very good job of cleaning the dishes and it runs very quietly. My only concern so far is that it seems to take a long time to complete a cycle. This dishwasher has the controls on the front, which is what I wanted, but we are finding that the buttons get pushed by accident when family members stand at the counter next to the dishwasher.

When my hubby and I bought our condo we went with the standard appliance package which were GE. I hated that DW from day one! A knlife with peanut butter on it would not come clean. Then the DW started to die. YAY! I bought the Kitchenaid because of the sales guy's recommendation. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this machine! I have tested it time and again with NEVER rinsing an single item. They always came clean! The old machine I practically had to wash the dishes before putting them in the machine. The KitchenAid had NOT disappointed. If you are l looking for a dishwasher that actually CLEANS dishes...buy this one!

The dishwasher is quiet and cleans very well, which was one of our main points, however, the bottom rack lacks some room and we seem to have water appear near the top of the door.

Can't believe how quiet this dishwasher is! Standing right in front of it and can barely tell it is running. Everything came out very clean with a short run time.

Happy with how the product runs and cleans. It is quiet and cleans well, but the door gets stuck 3/4 of the way down on the left side hinged and wont open all the way. You must open it perfectly straight from the middle or from the top of the left side of the door for it not to get stuck. I can tell that this is either going to get broken or will not be usable in a short time and I will be calling for service. Very disappointing.

dishwasher is very quiet. you wouldn't know if it is running or not. It cleans the dishes very good, it doesn't leave residue at all. Great appliance.

We've had this dishwasher almost 3 weeks and are very happy. The dishes are clean and the machine is super quiet. I would have given it 5 stars but because the controls on are on the front if you lean against it it may turn on. Other than that a great machine! Very happy!

I purchased an open box dish washer that had a small bend in the front cover for a 40% discount! It was a simple matter to bend it back. There were no other problems.This allowed me to buy a washer way more deluxe than I expected within my budget. Free shipping was a bonus too.

Following my reviews of dishwashers I felt the KitchenAid product was the best value dishwasher. That value was for me was determined by customer reviews, sound, and cleaning performance. This review would have said great first impressions if the product did not seem slightly defective at installation. The dishwasher itself has performed well for cleaning and so extremely quiet we love it! However, the door from the date of install did not seem to align with the tub and we had two leaks. After a couple weeks we had it repaired under the warranty which KitchenAid did a great job standing behind their product. However after the repair which was just adjusting some legs mostly improved the door but never completely corrected it. Following the repair we had two more leaks. The performance has been fine since, so maybe a gasket was not aligned and finally seated itself correctly. The dishwasher is only 6 weeks old so time will tell.

Runs very quietly. Cleans flawlessly. Cons-the slightest brush against the control panel sets it up to start. The lettering on the panel is difficult to read-I have to use a lighted magnifying glass. Also difficult to see how full the jet dry dispenser is.

We love this new model cleans great & when cleaning you have to put your ear against it to hear it running that is how quiet it is running

The dishwasher works very well and is very quiet. We didn't realize how loud our old one was until we had to check to make sure the new one was working because it's so quiet. Dishes come clean every time. The only caution is that if you aren't used to the controls on the top and in front you will inadvertently turn it on until you learn how to lock it out.

The KitchenAid dishwasher is very quiet, cleans well and has multiple cycles. It also has a Sani rinse. I am very happy with it so far.

This dishwasher is super quiet. I was quite surprised. There’s no door separating my kitchen from my living room and I could barely hear it running while I watched TV. The only complaint I could express is the cycles seem to take a long time. However, the dishes do get clean and that’s the important part.
