No way,...its actually louder. much louder. it also extends out about 1/4 to 1/2 inch beyond the counter, unlike my old one. in the process of trying to initiate a return with best buy. i will update when that process is complete.

nice looking, quiet, but
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.installer would not install this until I had plumbing work done. said the original set up was fine (there was a dishwasher already there, being replaced) but "could not install this one". after spending $400 I had the plumber install it. does not do a good job of cleaning, unless prowash cycle is used with tough soil being selected - lot of water and time. heat dry never dries completely
