One amazing dishwasher! Stylish black stainless and super quiet!

Bought based off Consumer Reports rating. So very quiet. Because it's a stainless steel interior there seems to be less room than older dishwashers but the lack of sound more than makes up for it. Didn't need the installation kit but had to buy a 90 degree water input junction as the connection is now on the bottom of the washer.

Very quiet and the wash options are easy to understand and use.

I purchased this Kitchenaid to replace a Kitchenaid that I had for 20 years. I am happy with the purchase. The shelves roll easier than my old one and has many more adjustment features. Quite happy with my purchase and would recommend a kitchenaid to everyone.

Great dishwasher. Bought based on Consumer Reports review. The soap dispenser is a little finicky, otherwise no complaints.

Our 2002 Kitchen Aid Dishwasher finally saw its last wash and decided on another Kitchen Aid because of the dependability.

Match with my appliances but have some issues with drying dishes.Leaves water spots

I have no reference point as to whether this appliance is worthy of the price. I received my brand new appliance at the end of June 2016 and it broke after two cycles (water would not drain). The pump failed. New pump shipped to my home was defective. Repair attempt was on July 18th. They were to have a pump 2nd-day air shipped to my home. Since then I have not received a pump and just spent (Aug 2nd) 30 min (wait time estimated at six min) waiting for a rep to tell me the pump was ordered, but not shipped yet and I would have to call back when I got it to reschedule repair. No estimated dates could be given as to when to expect it. I asked to speak to a Manager and was told they would call me back. So much for spending $150 on a protection plan. I would have been better off buying from a business that specializes in high-end appliances.

HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO USE THIS YET BUT I AM SURE IT IS WORTH THE MONEY AND KITCHEN AID WILL NOT DISAPPOINT.

Will definitely use Best Buy again to buy our next item - matching KitchenAid fridge!

We had a frigidaire mid-line dishwasher that was a rockstar for 13 years. I could load un-rinsed dishes and they would come out sparkling clean. I always use either cascade or finish, and add lemishine because we have hard water. When the motor died, we decided to pay twice as much for this kitchenaid with great reviews. Loaded the dishes as usual, and was surprised that dishes came out dirty after 4 hour wash cycle. So I tried again, and still had the same issue. I had to hand wash everything. Best buy came out to make sure it was installed correctly, and it is. I'm now trying to make a service appointment under warranty from kitchenaid. In the meantime, it is the prettiest drying rack you can buy. And I'm not exaggerating - the dishes have to be spotless before you put them in the dishwasher for them to be cleaned lol. If you are looking at this model, consider other options.

Very disappointed in this product. It broke after less than a single month of light use - leaving standing water in the bottom of unit. Call the geek squad for repair. They immediately ordered a part (so they have seem this failure many times before!). The part arived two days later at my house (good), but the geek squad said they can do the repair for 10 days! What???

Claimed to be an eco dishwasher and turned out to be extremely poor quality of cleaning. Within a month of using it I have had to replace the motor , parts and now looking to return and buy an equivalent brand like Bosch:(

Had unit installed by Best Buy and it broke where the water connect to the washer. Had only used the dishwasher less than 5 times in the 1-2 weeks we owned it before we noticed the issue. They are replacing the unit but Still don't have new one

This is a beautiful dishwasher, silent and efficient. I bought it 2 years ago and suddenly the upper tray collapsed.... not a very good sign of quality for such a high end brand.... The positive... I had hired the option of the Geek Squad. They came home and changed the broken piece, and now it is working very well... I'm impressed, and highly recommend them... The Dishwasher is beautiful... not sure why it broke so fast

This is my second dishwasher in a month. The first dishwasher was installed but holes for the handle had been misdrilled so the handle would not fit. A month later they bring a brand new dishwasher and everything works just fine. The first dishwasher was so quiet I literally had to go stand next to it and put my ear close to it to be sure it was running. This second one seems to be a bit louder but still very quiet. Also the second unit did not have the small utensil basket included so I grabbed the one out of the old unit before they took it away. All of this leads me to believe KitchenAid has a bit of a quality control program at the factory. Otherwise I am very satisfied with the performance of the dishwasher. It has a nice range of wash and dry options to meet just about any need. I really like the sanitize option as that is one of the reasons for using a dishwasher. Plus I can put my contact lens cases in there and keep them nice and sanitary. If I had one quibble it is that these new dishwashers don't hold as many dishes as my 30 year old GE unit. But I only manage to use enough dishes to run the dishwasher about once a week so it really is not that much of a problem for me. If you have a full four place setting to wash it will be hard to fit in all of the bowls and cups and pots and pans and odds and ends in one load.
