We love our new Kitchenaid 5 door refrigerator. It’s the last piece we needed to complete our kitchen suite. We had to move a wall to make room for it, but it’s totally worth it. It’s huge inside, plenty of room for a pizza box which we could not fit in our counter depth fridge. We love the drawers for quick access to drinks. The freezer space is also great. So far, we are completely thrilled with this purchase.

We purchased all KitchenAid appliances for our kitchen remodel in May 2018 from Best Buy; Refrigerator, Double ovens, Microwave drawer, Gas cook top and hood. We did an abundant amount of research before deciding on KitchenAid. The reviews and customer satisfaction seemed all positive to us... but we have not been so lucky.
We have had an issue with ice production since day 1, even when we enabled the 'continuous ice' function. We followed all the 'trouble shooting' recommendations to no avail. In March 2019, the roof of the fridge starting leaking water sporadically. We called KitchenAid, as it was still under manufacturer warranty, and filed a repair claim. They sent out a local appliance repair company who stated they fixed they leaking and ice production issue. Ice production seemed ok, not nearly producing the amount of ice we received from our previous 'other brand' fridge (that was literally 1/4 of the price of this KitchenAid fridge)... Jump to today, 5 months later, and the fridge is leaking again, and there is almost NO ice produced at all. We call KitchenAid, thinking since this is a reoccurring issue they would take care of it? Nope. The customer service rep told us that we would have to pay a diagnosis fee of $100 to the appliance repair company since we are out of warranty. Since they referred the same company that originally came out, I contacted that company to advise that this is the same issue they supposedly repaired in March. I was told that they only have a 90 day warranty on their services, and I am out of my manufacturer warranty, so I would be responsible for service call fee of $100 PLUS all parts and labor.
The KitchenAid CSR couldn't care less. She basically told us there was nothing they can do.
So, in closing- do NOT pay $3,500+ for this refrigerator- it is NOT worth it, and the customer service from KitchenAid adds insult to injury.

I'm in love with this refrigerator. Simply beautiful and practical. It makes me want to do a complete kitchen remodel. Extremely spacious.
Kitchenaid does need to reevaluate how they package the item, the first one arrived with over fifteen dents.

We like this fridge with 2 exceptions. We have a small concern that the lighting inside the fridge compartment seems dim. Our biggest problem is that the water and ice still smell and taste like plastic even though we have run gallons of water through both systems. It seems this is a common complaint among reviewers but we only saw this after our purchase. It sounds like this will be the case every time we replace the water filter ($40 to $60) which we are supposed to do every year. Fortunately we have good tap water for drinking but the cubes still taint the flavor of the drinks we put them in.

I am a proud owner of this kind of refrigerator. Not only is this stylish but very useful - the way it is styled. I love how there is a space for your soda, yogurt, produce that you can set at different temperatures. I love that you have a specific place for your frozen pizza in the freezer. I love the adjustable rack for big/ tall containers. My whole family loves. You don't buy a refrigerator every year, this might be a little expensive, but might as well invest in something you are happy in using it everyday in your house for how many years.

This is my second Kitchenaid refrigerator. The first one was less than 3 years old and it went out. The whole middle section did not keep cold. I loved this model because of its looks and is spacious and just absolutely beautiful inside but I am weary of the same issue as my last fridge since now I have thermometers all inside and it almost always reads 40 degrees even though I have it set at 35 degrees.

We purchased all new appliances for our kitchen. We went with KitchenAid across the board because of the good looks, features, etc. Unfortunately, after using it for a while we have found that the refrigerator space is too small. Not enough room for a bottle of wine standing up without pushing a shelf in. Shelves on left are too close to each other so hard to find space for larger items. You really have to be more organized to get everything you need in the fridge. Also, we knew it was not a counter depth fridge, but it sticks out a lot...more than we expected.

We fell in love with this fridge. We like the grey color in the inside and the fact that it had to drawers separate from the fridge part. Also the fact that it has an indoor pizza storage area in the freezer. You arrange the shelves in the fridge however you like as well as place the side trays any height you like. The side trays come out so easy. We also like the style of all the handles which is on the outside as well as the inside of the fridge.

Love the lighting. The shelves were tricky at first to install but once in, no issues. One of the doors is lower than the other, even after adjustment.

Beautiful fridge Spacious.Clean water and ice
Well worth it. One thing! DO NOT order this online. Beat Buy uses a third party and the service was beyond horrible and frustrating. They delivered the fridge and REFUSED to put it together and place it in the kitchen! The fridge was in my living room for 4 days until I raised so much hell they finally sent out the Geek Squad!!!

Love this fridge. It is definitely on the larger size, which is what we needed. The only issue is that the two main doors on the top are slightly crooked- one hangs lower than the other, which bothers me since it’s definitely not cheap.
