I love the looks and the black stainless is the best shade of this color that I have found. It is matte and absolutely does not smudge. Believe me; I touched all of the black stainless refrigerators on showroom floors! If there is no TV on or a conversationa taking place, I can hear a slight hum, but it is not a bother.

I paid expensive price for this refrigerator! I will never buy any kitchen aid brand!

The refrigerator is less than two years old and the ice maker quit working. The ice maker and fan were replaced. Six days after they were replaced it quit working again. Another call to the Geek Squad is being made to see what can be done. I have owned Kitchenaid products for many years and they have always been great products, but not anymore. I would never recommend this product to anyone.
