Moved to a new home that had kitchen aid appliances, all but the fridge. I am a long standing Frigidaire customer, but wanted appliances to match so we purchased this one at $3500 at Best Buy. Within 6 months I had to have it serviced. Something keeps freezing up under the crisper drawers and causes water to pool in the pan. Then everytime you open the drawer water and ice run out all over my WOOD FLOOR! We have also had the issues with ice and frost build up in the freezer. I have had the factory repair techs out twice now to defrost it and offer no explanation of a permanent fix. I am again needing it serviced for the same issue and its only been 1.5 years since purchase. Best Buy informs me that the first two repairs don't count since it was done by the factory and not them. What a load of Crap. I JUST WANT MY VERY EXPENSIVE FRIDGE TO WORK AS IT SHOULD. Not impressed with this fridge or customer service from Best Buy or Whirlpool.

I love this refrigerator, it has plenty of room… You can see things that you put in there don’t have to root for them… Love it spacious organized…And the drawers and drawers close automatically with just a small push

I have heard negative reviews about this refrigerator but I am pleased with my purchase. It is a beautiful product and I get compliments when visitors see it. The product has a lot of room for storage and it categorizes your shopping items for the proper temperature storage.

I love this refrigerator. The 3 drawers in the freezer and the hidden pizza nook are so spacious. The extra drawers make it so much easier to manage my produce and lunch meats. The ice maker was a little slow to get going but once it is full it seems to do the job well. Oh! One more thing I love is the ice dispenser. You will have to buy one to understand why though!

Our old side by side refrigerator was never satisfactory. The compartments were too narrow and too deep. This new refrigerator has resolved ll those issues. The doors are wide, the compartments are deep. Shelves are easily adjusted to accommodate our food items. The pull out freezer is deep and comes with two shallow shelves plus a compartment just inside the door for frozen pizzas. The two middle drawers are deep enough to hold fresh produce and meats. We like the left hand drawer which has an adjustable setting to thaw frozen meats. In short, we have no complaints, whatsoever about this unit.

Our last refrigerator was a Samsung 29 cubic feet refrigerator that served us for 12 years but the leak and ice build was manageable until the end.my wife and I did our homework and found this KitchenAide that we liked and so far no complaints at all it’s upholding its reputation. I would recommend this refrigerator

I like so much. It is work excellent. The lights inside are so brilliant.

I purchased this refrigerator on April 27, 2023. It was delivered on May 1st. I love the way it looks but it is not something I can recommend. 1) The doors on the first refrigerator could not be aligned using the process described in the owner's manual. Technician had to come out and look at it and ended up replacing. 2) 68 days into owning, I noticed that the ice maker and freezer were not working. Even the refrigerator would only cool to 58º F. I lost all my frozen food (about $400 in today's $). Whirlpool tech came out and said that the compressor was shot. I needed a new compressor, dryer and evaporator. I'm sorry but I am not going to accept a $3,500 refrigerator that can't make it a year before MAJOR components need to be replaced. Whirlpool refused to replace the unit even though their technician told me I would continue to have issues with this unit due to metal shavings likely throughout the cooling system. 3) Best Buy initially did not want to replace the unit but after several conversations with the store management, they decided to replace with a brand new unit. The new unit is cooling as intended but does make a lot of noise. I am very disappointed in this refrigerator. It was the most expensive floor model at Best Buy and looks like it's built like a tank. Unfortunately, IMO it's not worth it's weight in pennies. I do want to recognize Rockwall, Texas Best Buy Management. You took care of my situation and in doing so saved a long standing relationship. I will continue to shop with you and do my part to hold off Amazon from shutting your doors.

Fridge has Great Lighting and Plenty of Storage Space! I Love that every section in the fridge is utilized very well. Very well designed. You Pay for what you Get ! Great product!!!

It appears to be nice. It has lots of space in the refrigerator part but for some reason the freezer area appears to be smaller than my prior refrigerator freezer

If you buy this fridge make sure you buy the protection plan! Ice build up seems to happen every so often. Unplugging it and thawing it out for a few days didn’t fix the issue and the geek tech had to take the inside top and bottom panels out and manually melt the ice on 4 separate occasions. After 4 1/2 years the ice maker stopped working and the cooling system is going out. Parts are on back order so after a year of dealing with the ice maker and cooling issues Best Buy has replaced my item. On a positive note….Geek squad is awesome to work with!

So far so good. While this model doesn’t have the biggest interior it is laid out nicely. Love the LED lighting. It’s easy to see what you have in the fridge. I wish the owner manual was more in-depth - it lacked error code messages. Had to go online and search when we had power failure.

New to me are the 2 drawers which are so convenient for produce and cold drinks. The fridge section is roomy and will accommodate any size tray or tall bottle. Love the bright lit interior. Plenty of ice is in the ice maker. Nice dividers in the freezer, plus 2 pull out trays. Even like the knurled ? Jandles with red buttons on each end, which can even be traded out for black, I think.

kitchenaid has really created a beautiful refrigerator inside and out. It has great LED lighting. It has many great features including door alarms and some unique features for increased ice usage. I love my new refrigerator!

Can’t express ho much how much happier my wife with this beautiful fridge. And most of all thanks for the good customer service provided my manager on duty and his appliance sales man.

This product has plenty of space, functionality and convenience . The 5 drawers are fantastic. The drawers are independent and can be clean with ease. If something accidentally spills up top, it does not spills to the bottom of the refrigerator. The lighten is soft but still bright.

I was nervous because of some of the bad reviews, I’ve had it a week now and absolutely love our new fridge!! It changes the look and feel of my kitchen we love it! FYI The icemaker does just fine! If you hosting a party (8-12 people) go get a large bag of ice that’s expected! It’s more than enough for my family of 5, my daughter eats crush ice all day everyday.

We have already had one warranty replacement on our Kitchenaid 5 door refrigerator. Between all of our rentals we have about 20 refrigerators, I prefer Whirlpool products for their overall reliability. I have a saying- Friends don’t let Friends buy Samsung, or Frigidaire… but this Kitchenaid 5 door apparently has some massive design flaws and the service providers while under manufacturer warranty are insanely slow to react. Geek Squad’s teams have been great, though! It’s gorgeous, but I would not recommend. The warranty replacement is a month old and it went from just due to water taking 2.5 minutes to fill a 16oz cup of water. Our last one did the same thing. A part was replaced and then all was good. Our last one started freezing all of our food too… hopefully this one won’t do the same. Equipment breaks. It’s inevitable. The worst part of the experience that damages the Whirlpool brand is the appliance repair companies Whirlpool chooses as repair partners, which in my experience aren’t responsive, are slow to act, and take forever to get parts and install them. Geek squad is extremely fast and responsive, appliance hospital was extremely slow and unresponsive.

Perfection! I’ve had the fridge for 2 weeks and I can’t say enough good about it. Worth every penny! However Best Buy installers were terrible. Don’t waste your money paying for installation. You still end up doing it all.
