    I'm not excited with the design of the refrigerator. I The shelving layout is difficult. The light in the top takes up space and there is not a good spot for taller items.

    Couldn’t tell you because I have not received my product yet and I was supposed to get it delivered and installed on 3/8/25 and apparently now I have to wait another week because you can’t guarantee a delivery time that works for me.

    The handles have to be tightened constantly. If you leave the fridge open for too long while, say, putting away groceries, the temperature goes up very quickly, and it takes several days to get back to the set temperature.

    Rust problem

    Fridge bought in March 2018 showing signs of rust pitting on door. Issue not covered by store extended warranty. Contacted manufacturer who are sending out technician. I selected this fridge for functionality and appearance. Rusting on such a new refrigerator is unacceptable and have to question the quality of materials used. The fridge itself works well but who wants a rust bucket in their kitchen?!!

    Going Crazy

    Fridge itself is fine, but don't expect the ice maker to work for any length of time. Thank God I have the extended protection plan. Can't count the number of times I have people out to fix and it stops working again in a month or two. Have have Geek Squad technicians as well as independents hired by Geek Squad and no one can fix. Beyond frustrating, ready to get rid of it unless something is done and someone is willing to stand by their product

    Dead After 5.5 Years

    We own the previous model to this. In 5.5 years, we have had approximately 7+ service calls. Four of those calls have been since the Fall of 2017. And three of those four were for the same issue regarding the fan. Five days ago, the the freezer temp started going from zero degrees to 8+ degrees and the refrigerator is fluctuating from 38 degrees to 60+ degrees. There is a leak in the system and it is requiring one, if not two parts. I had purchased an additional 1 year warranty in January, 2018. I called Best Buy 5 days ago to set up a repair. They sent a contracted company out to look at it 2 days later. Two days after that, I phoned the contracted provider to check the status of the repair, replacement, whatever. I was told that Best Buy would be ordering the parts and I would hear from them (or whatever division is working on this repair). I then called Best Buy Open Claims and was told that I was set up for a repair FOUR days from now. This is totally unacceptable to be without a refrigerator for NINE days. I also should have been more diligent in reading Consumer reviews of Best and Worst refrigerators to purchase. Now that I am taking the time, I see that Whirlpool and KitchenAid are the two Brands most prone to repairs. My refrigerator repairs never fell under the time frame of it being labeled a lemon. So I cannot recommend this brand of refrigerator and I am more than unhappy with the customer service that I have received from Best Buy regarding this repair. When I have voiced my opinion on the phone with customer service, I basically received no response to my statement. Reading the reviews on Best Buy's website, everyone loves their appliances that that they just bought or have owned for a few months. Look for the reviews from the people that have owned the appliances for a period of time to get an accurate picture.

    Don't buy this product! Don't buy it!, Don't ....

    I bought this model in last December at full price plus 3-year insurance. It was winter time, we didn't need to make ice cubes. So I turned off ice maker. However, the switch was broken and I was unable to turn it off. It kept making ice cubes even the box was full. Ice cubes flew out box...I had to clean up ice box every day. In addition, temperature controller was out of work too. I called a service to fix these problems. Technician came to inspect the issues and told me that he needed to order parts. I waited another week. Today (Friday, Mar 29) technician came again. He changed ice maker switch, which is working fine. But he has to came back a week later because he didn't order a right temperature controller. Technician left around 6:00pm. Now, (at 8:30pm), I found out that this 3-month old refrigerator is totally out of work!!! Light is out, while engine stops working, foods are thawing. I called BestBuy's contracted service company and left urgent requests twice. Tomorrow is Saturday, I don't know if repair service company will dispatch someone over to help. I REGRETTED TO BUY KITCHENAID refrigerator. Never ever recommend any Kitchenaid appliances.

    This refrigerator is loud as a fan will go on and off all the time. The freezer door does not glide easily to close. If you do not almost slam it shut the inside of the freezer will frost up. Therefore you have to shut the appliance off and defrost the freezer otherwise the ice will keep building up.

    Very loud HIGH PITCH noise - was driving my crazy. Kitchen Aid sent a service man. He stated it was normal. Exchanged for an equivalent LG which is super quiet.

    Not Happy! DO Not Purchase!

    I bought a complete KitchenAid suite as part of a total kitchen remodel in September, 2019. After less than four months the refrigerator stopped cooling, the temperature was at 58 degrees. Calls to KitchenAid Customer Care, don’t be fooled, they do not care once they have your money, we’re horrendous. The earliest appointment I could get was a week out, meanwhile I had to dispose of the refrigerator contents and farm out frozen food to our small family room refrigerator. The quality of this product is awful and the KitchedAid customer care is just plain terrible!
