    Unit bent and Best Buy will not help

    Bought this on sale and had to wait on gas company to install. When it was put in counter noticed it was severely bent and does not sit flush. Best Buy will do nothing because past the 15 days.

    too expensive and not amazing.

    This countertop is not worth the price. Is too expensive and not durable.I been using it for a month now. First hard to clean I have tried so many cleaning product stainless steel wipes, spray , sponges mircofiber towels, paper towel sponges you name it. The burners get dirty and hard to clean. the top part it gets stain easily. I cleaned it right after cooking each time. Also it takes a long time to heat food. I think this cooktop is meant for decorative purposes only.

    Its hard to review a product I have not received yet because its been on backorder! You can try asking me again when I actually receive the stovetop and have it installed.

    I'm currently waiting for the third replacement. At least BB has been very good dealing with the issue. - The first cooktop had an issue with two burner's starters what were never stopping sparking. - On the second unit the center burner was not turning on, no spark at all. BB installer noticed the problem right away and let BB know about the issue. A third unit is now on its way. I'll update this review once I get the next one.

    Ordered an entire new kitchen. Supplied all through Pacific Sales, This item was received "new" in an unopened box via Pacific Sales/Best Buy. Upon unpacking it was damaged. One of the 5 gas control rods (which the buttons mount on) was visibly bent. Very disappointed. Have to drive back 35 miles one way to return it to Pacific Sales and WAIT for a re-order delaying our construction project. Shame on Kitchen Aid who need better quality control.

    Very unhappy with stove top and with Best Buy

    I have read the other reviews and am happy for them. They must have a different cooktop or they are not doing deep cleaning. First, the printing around knobs for heat level is very hard to read. Second, my first knob on right seems out of line with the others to the left. Tech came out and had to call support to determine it is a natural characteristic because of the over size burner they have to move the knob out of line. While here the tech pushed the orb so hard he broke it off. Had to order a new one and reschedule. Third, the back two burners the bases rock on their foundations. Why the do not sit flat unknown. Again this is the natural characteristic. Food gets underneath and has to be cleaned. Forth, while cleaning be very careful as the lighter is very sharp and seems to cut my big hand every time. Fifth, grates are very hard to clean in between the ridges on each end. Sixth, When installed they did not secure well so it slides back and forth. Will have to call to have it secured. Seventh, the burner caps stain. Nothing you can do about it. Wash all you want and they will not come clean. Eighth, the base plates burn brown with the slightest spill, hard to clean off. Try getting a call into Whirlpool appliance repair and they will not return call. Seven calls, wait times of 20 minutes then automated voice says all operators busy. Leave message and they will call back. After seven times a rude person called back. Call Kitchen Aid/Whirlpool and you can not get to speak to a support person. Reason, the work from home now. I tried calling Best Buy in San Bernardino three times. Sat on phone over 1.5 hours each time with no one ever picking up phone. The sales people were all over you at the store, but seem to not want to answer phone calls. If I could I would return this stove top. So many problems. Look at the stove carefully before you buy. I sure wish I had seen all these issues or that a salesperson would have pointed them out. I also wish Best Buy would call me.
