Bought this in Feb and was installed in April. Have been using it about a month. Although it is basically summer now and I usually do more grilling and much less baking this time of yr, I have been using it quite a bit. I've almost always had a gas stove but when we purchased this house, it came with a horrible electric cooktop in ceramic. So after four yrs I'm reacclimating to cooking with gas. We did the propane conversion by our local dealer...so technically I'm on LP. It kicks out tremendous heat. The burners vary in BTUs but both larger ones are hottttt. I find I'm often on low to medium and cooking away. The ovens rock. I've used both. 1. I love the blue interior. 2. The convection is new to me but it's not that much of a learning curve. The easy convection button will figure for you what you shld be set on once you input the standard Time and temp for a recipe. So once and done. I've figured that it tends to suggest 25 degrees lower but same length of time. I'm also just winging it and experimenting with time and temp. Have not run the self clean as we are only a month in. Can bake 3 racks of cookies at a time...I really like it and am so glad to be back in gas...esp for canning. Bought as part of a three piece KitchenAid promo and price was great. Delivery was within a week. LP conversion pieces come with it. Took my propane guys about an hour to connect, test, etc.

This stove is fantastic. Having two ovens is a huge advantage! The stainless surface around the burners can be a bit difficult to keep clean (if a pot boils over).

Over all we really enjoy our new range. In the large oven I’ve cooked a 18 lb turkey that turned out wonderful. There is plenty of room for a larger turkey if needed. In the top oven I’ve baked cinnamon rolls that turned out great, then I tried Banana bread. The crust got a little dark, the bread was a little dry. Probably should do the thicker bread loaves in the large oven. The cook top seem good, because of the griddle it makes everything a little tight. The one thing we don’t like is the knobs for the cook top are easily turned on just by bumping into them. More then once we could smell gas in the kitchen, then found a knob slightly turned on.

We looked at various double ovens and decided on gas over electric. Though we've cooked with electric for over 40 years, this gas double oven is great, It heats faster and is more controllable than the electric smooth top we just replaced. We chose KitchenAid because of the style of the top grates. It's also convection in the bottom oven and the bottom oven is huge. The spark ignition is super and helps save energy
This was definitely the "Best Buy" for us and I think you'll like it to

The good:
1. Having two ovens that operate at two different temperatures is amazing, especially if you cook for many people at once. You can bake something in the bottom oven while frying something on the stove, and use the top oven to keep things warm, all at the same time. I would give it ten stars for this.
2. The self cleaning feature works.
3. It's a standard size, not crazy big.
The bad:
1. Three of the five ignitors went out in the first year. They were replaced under warranty, and one of those is iffy; it takes a couple of clicks to light that one burner. That's a ding of one star on quality.
2. The door fronts can collect spills. We had a liquid bubble over before it could be turned off, and the liquid leaked into the space between the inner and outer glass on the top oven door. You can unscrew it all and clean it, but it was a hassle.
3. We live in an older neighborhood that is prone to losing electricity several times a year. One of the huge benefits to having a gas stove/oven is that it works even when the electricity is out, so you can still cook and stay warm. Except for this unit. It's apparently some type of safety feature that you can't the stove and stay alive in the cold.

Pros:
1. It's pretty.
Cons:
1. The stovetop is difficult to clean. You have to remove the grates which isn't a huge deal but they have to be placed back a specific way and you have to be very careful when setting them down or they will scratch the stainless steel. It is also impossible to keep the stainless steel around the burners clean. I haven't found anything that will remove the brown stains.
2. You can't use the front and back burners at the same time and keep the pot/pan centered over the burner.
3. The stovetop area is too small to use all of the burners at once. For holidays, I turn on all of the burners and jam as many pots/pans on top as possible but none of them are centered over a burner.
4. The grate on the upper oven rubs on the door when you slide it out.
5. The knobs are cheap and the paint has chipped off on one.
6. The timer only beeps once.

Love the oven, cleaning is a bit difficult and time consuming. Timer isn't the easiest on convectional bake. Cooks well on burners and in each oven. Didn't provide excellent rating because of the difficulty to clean and already have marks from cooking on stove top burners but followed all the manuals cleaning guidelines. I have emailed Kitchenaid but no response yet.

This is the best range in the universe. It is gorgeous, and bursting with wonderful features. The griddle/griddle burner, in addition to the four-burners (one great high BTU burner), is super convenient. The small top oven is a particular blessing, that we use far more often than the "regular-sized" oven below. We love having the warming options, as well as the convection and self-cleaning. This range is worth every single penny of the price. A great value.

After my (dreadful) second-hand stove finally died, I went to Best Buy to check out new models. I'd happened to walk down another aisle while waiting to get the specs on another stove when I found myself in the 'double-oven' area. Having only seen them in ads once or twice, it wasn't even on my 'radar'. But, by the time the salesman had returned with my specs, I informed him that I wanted this stove, instead.
We couldn't be happier with our purchase, a sleek, elegant beast that exceeds every expectation, and looks fabulous in our kitchen. Having variable burners is still a wonderful surprise, and makes even boiling water a joy. As if the stove's features weren't enough, the blue lining was a lovely surprise- and matches our counters perfectly, as if it were designed for us. I can't say enough about the tremendous versatility of this stove, which has already streamlined my cooking in general. Cant' wait for the holidays!

Coming from an electric stove, a gas range is definitely the way to go. The dual ovens really increase the versality for having multiple dishes at different temperatures. I purchased this along with the matching fridge, dishwasher, and microwave and they look great in our kitchen.

This range truly meets our needs! Having two racks on the bottom allows for more cooking space for multiple meals. Our previous double oven range was set up with two racks on the smaller upper oven. It provides even temperature cooking as well. I would prefer a louder timer notification because I tend to multitask when cooking - I have to stay close by so that I'll know when the timer goes off.

Double ovens are great! Upper oven is especially good for warming food. Electronic controls are simple to use. Stove top grates are light weight and easy to remove for cleaning.

This oven is fabulous and works like a dream. The efficient use of space having and upper and lower oven assures that you can cook 2 different temperatures at once. The upper is the one I use the majority of the time. You can cook just about everything in the upper oven, except for larger items. I heats and cooks very evenly both in the ovens and on the cook top. Very well laid out and easy to use, plus it looks fabulous.

I love the stove having two ovens is wonderful. My concern is I need to move the grades each time I’m cleaning the top of the stove. They will scratch the stainless very easily. I need something heat proof to put certain places so not to touch the stainless with the grades.
