we like that the grates cover the entire top and also converts for a wok. The handles are nice and sturdy, lookes like a professional stove. The stinless and top are easy to clean. The oven heats and holds the temperature steady. Matches our other appliances.

    The Perfect Stove

My new KitchenAid Gas Range (Architect Series II) is my first brand-new stove, and it has everything: looks like a professional chef's range and produces a flame that's adjustable from very high heat to very low. There's also a reversible grate to support my wok. Besides that, my new stove has a convection oven that makes everything I cook taste tender, juicy and better than my old ordinary oven. Because it blows the heat around the food, it uses lower temperatures and less time than nonconvection ovens. I can also delay the start of cooking, so my food is ready when I get home from work. Below the oven is a warming drawer that works for heating plates, holding hot bread and side dishes, and keeping dinner warm during unexpected delays. Last, but not least, the oven cleans itself! What a blessing for getting rid of those baked-on spatters and fruit pie spills. Thanks, Kitchen-Aid, for answering my fondest dream! --The Lazy Cookie

I bought this slide in range and it was installed about 3 weeks ago. The performance of the range is excellent so far, but have yet to bake or broil anything in the stove. Love the continuous grate design and sealed burners does making cleaning the cook top a breeze.

Great range with convection cooking. Convection cooked in way less time and automatically converted the temp from regular cooking. Would definently recommend!

A very professional look, very easy to use, while I had a contractor install this appliance, it was fairly challenging. Note that best buy may tell you that this is a free standing oven with the look of a slide in, it's not, it's a slide in which rests on your counters and has about a 3" space to the backsplash. Just a heads up. No complaints at all and looks great.

We loved the range for about a day until the oven and broiler stopped working. Best Buy contracted with A&E Factory Service (SEARS) to make the warranty repair. A&E were responsive and good but it took them 3 visits to repair the oven. One visit to diagnose the problem. On the next visit they replaced the oven circuit board and that got the broiler working but not the oven. On the final visit they replaced the gas valve and now the oven works again.. The digital controls are well laid out and the oven heats quickly and maintains an even temperature. Convection works well too. Burners have lots of heat and control. Next time I would buy the dual fuel version instead of a gas oven.
