The handle on the bowl makes it very conventient and much easier to use compares to the tradition bowl that doesn't have a handle. It's very quiet for its size. Excellent quality and craftsmanship.

We use it all the time for baking, pasta making, meat grinding, etc. Perfect gift for the holidays. Looks great on the countertop as nice kitchen decor as well. Pricey, but worth it when it goes on sale.

Replaced under extended warranty

Unfortunately, it stopped working on Easter morning, when my daughter was making a cake, 16 months after my purchase. Luckily, with my Best Buy Total Tech membership, it fell within the two year extended warranty and it was replaced. Fingers crossed the replacement lasts a lot longer.

I had this one before but my son adopted it. then bought one that was a little cheaper but still kitchen aid but not as good. so now I am back to the awesome one again.

We purchased the pasta attachments as we make our own home made spaghetti and it works great. Saves a lot of time in kneading the dough to the right consistency and also cutting the dough.
