Yes, it is a monster,and that is good. Incredibly well-made, powerful and attractive, it will easily crush ice and frozen fruit for smoothies. It will pulverize nuts and seeds. It has three horsepower, and yet is moderately loud, even at full power. Wonderful for soups and sauces, all ingredients are thoroughly blended. It comes with an incredible ten-year warranty. Cleanup is quick and easy.

I have been wanting a powerful, quality blender and found it. Was a daily deal on Best Buy, thanks. I was not going to be spending $400 to $600 on a blender for sure. This beast fits the bill for me. So far I have only made several Margaritas, love that they are so easy lol. Only downside is it is really heavy and I have to keep it in the cupboard. But I just get it out and use it and put it back with no problem. I love the quality of Kitchenaid. The 10 year warranty is a plus also.

The KitchenAid KSB6060BM Blender is a powerhouse. It makes short work of anything, is quiet, handsome, and easy to clean. Better than the Ninja! Love it.

I purchased this for my wife for making her Mole and salsas. We burned up 2 ninjas and a Hamilton beach. It is powerful and quiet. Her only complaint is the lid stays on too well.

It’s a beefy, heavy unit that can make easy work of stuff that strains lesser blenders. Great for ice drinks. Turns ice cubes into slush with no problem. Makes terrific smoothies. Can be a bit noisy, but because it works so fast, it’s not a big problem. Heavy. If you don’t have counter space for it to live, you’re going to get a workout moving it around. Easy to clean.

I have had other "high end" blenders. This model meets or exceeds the performance of any of the other blenders I've had. (Vita*** for example) One of my favorite things is the housing of this blender. It is very similar to the KitchenAid mixers that are built like tanks. Heavy for sure so keep that in mind but this helps keep it from moving at all on the counter which other brands will do. This model does NOT have the rubber tipped tamper or the double walled jar but for the, very often, sale price of less than 1/2 of those models, this can't be beat. Do yourself a favor and buy this if your're in the market. At least when it's on sale or as a Deal of The Day participant. If the "very best", highest regarded blender there is was only $100 more than this one, I'd probably still buy this one. :) Be Kind, rewind & peace be with you!

I mainly use this to make smoothies and it works well. It is large and loud! But it is very powerful. With a ten year warranty I don't see how you can beat the blender. Watch for the sales because the price fluctuates a lot. I purchased as a daily deal for less than $200, I think it was $179.

This blender has all the power you need to make whatever you want. It can definitely compare to the other high end blenders on the market. Smoothie's are made instantly without any hiccups. Everything gets pulverized and comes out really smooth.

This blender is built like a tank! Heavy, sturdy base. Seems to blend everything I've thrown at it thus far with ease. Sale price was a bargain when compared to a Vitamix.

I bought this blender on sale (still almost $200) because it had all the functions I was looking for. Unfortunately, it did not work any better then the old Oster simple blender I needed to replace. I needed something that would smoothly blend yogurt with frozen fruit, but all this blender did was beat up the yogurt at the bottom while the fruit still hovered above. My old $30 blender did that. Functionality aside, I have to point out that this is also the world's heaviest blender! Not only is the thing big and tall so it did not fit on my counter under my cabinet, but I weighed it and it literally weighed 20 pounds! So even if I had room to put it in a lower cabinet where there was more space it would be prohibitive to be hauling it up and down all of the time because of the weight. I'm not sure exactly what they were thinking when they designed it. Needless to say, I returned it. The girl at customer service even commented on how heavy it was. I replaced it with a Ninja Auto IQ blender which I love. Not only did it it not weigh a ton, but came with more accessories, was a much better dollar value, and blends my yogurt and fruit to perfection! In summary, unless you want to use it for weight training, I would pass on this blender.

This is the most powerful blender i’ve ever owned. My smoothies turn out silky smooth. Oh yeah! It’s assembled in America. I highly recommend this blender.

The size of the blender is appropriate to mix a generous amount of your choosing. Easy to clean but difficult to store due to the base weight. While there are 9 variables speeds, it's not easy to gauge which speed to use. There is also a switch located in the back for child proof.

Amazing blender that can make any festive beverage of all types. Only negative is that I have to hide from my family from using several times a day and no time when I want to use it. Very user friendly and a plus in any kitchen .

The KitchenAid blender is outstanding in every way. It chops, stirs, mixes, slices, dices, smooths, whips, frappes, cremes, heats soup, ices frosties, and much much more - all with simplicity and ease.

The kitchen-aid blender is the best I have ever used , I have owned many different ones, with this one you can add ice , fruit , and everything comes out smooth.

Great blender, it does its job very well. My only issue is that you have to remove the the entire top to pour, wish it had an attachment for pouring.

I am sure this would last for generations -but it is bulky. If you need a super powerful blender, then this would be great for you.
