Had this for about a month now. Looked at all the brands in the $900-$1,000 range and narrowed down to Kitchenaid, Bosche, and Miele. Miele was consistently the best reviewed but not available at Best Buy, which was offering free delivery installation at the time. The Kitchenaid and Bosche both received mostly good reviews, but I finally chose this model due to the capacity. I took the Bosche rack out at the store and it fit inside the Kitchenaid rack. Pros: High capacity, cleans and drys dishes well, adjustable top rack (has been useful when we have tall water bottles), quiet operation (but not completely quiet - at startup and a couple of other times in the cycle, you can hear it; not loud by any means but not 100% silent), one hour mode (but uses more water) Cons: shows fingerprints but easy to clean

This is the quietest dishwasher I've ever had. It does a really good job of cleaning my dishes and leaves them sparkling. Even removed film from glasses that the old dishwasher left on them. KitchenAid is a dependable brand. I"m very pleased with it. The only thing I don't like is the flimsy plastic things that are supposed to hold the knives, forks & spoons upright.. They won't stay in place, no matter what I do. Think they will eventually be discarded. KitchenAid needs to rethink those. Otherwise, it's a good product that I would recommend to friends.

Love this dishwasher as it’s very quiet. Gets the dishes clean and dry everytime. I never had issues with its performance. However it gets dirty very easily on the front panel and makes little harder to keep it spotless

So far, I am satisfied with this purchase. It was between this Kitchenaid and a Whirlpool. I did not like the Stainless Steel handle or the silverware rack on the Whirlpool and I liked the way this Kitchenaid looked and all of the washing options that I had on this model. It cleans very well and it is very quiet. I like that I could delay my wash or rinse only if I need to.

We have had this dishwasher a little over a month and it is doing great. Very quiet and does a great job on the dirt. One thing that is a challenge is tall items like a large round pizza pan that does not fit so it had to be handwashed. Granted not that big of a deal but I used to tilt these in my old dishwasher it and fit. We are very happy though so its all good.

Love this new dishwasher. Easy to load, cleans well, and has several different cycle options to choose from depending on what your needs are. Can use the heat dry feature or turn it off for air dry.

Excellent quality dish washer that runs extremely quiet. This dishwasher has easy to use and convenient control buttons, and seems to have a very large interior. Everything gets clean, and this dishwasher has a pro scrubber setting for really dirty pots and pans. works great

I've only washed dishes in it once, but it did a super job, and I didn't even know it was running. It's very quiet. Installation was very tedious.

This is an awesome dishwasher. We previously had a dishwasher that lacked in capacity planning. We were running it just about every day. This new one uses space much more efficiently and that makes me happy. The only thing I'm not crazy about are the controls at the top - they're really sensitive. You just barely brush your hand over it and it registers that you've pressed a button. That can be good or bad, but if you use the top of the door to open it rather than the bar on the front, then you're going to press something. Not a huge complaint, but I wish it were just a little less sensitive.

We are surprised by how QUIET this dishwasher is. Many claim to be, this one delivers. Quality construction throughout, with enough options to please everyone. We often use the shorter wash cycle with NO loss of washing power. We do leave the utensil holders OPEN, as the slots are more of an annoyance than a benefit. Be sure to use drying agent as it makes a significant difference. The only "quirk" you have to get use to is cancelling the start button, before closing the door, otherwise you may have unintended starts. We are very pleased with this product, AND the BEST BUY installation and support.

I absolutely love this dishwasher. The control panel is on the top of the door so you don't have to bend down to select your settings. Washes great and love the stainless steel inside.

The dishwasher is beautiful and is very quiet. I was told it was the best at cleaning food off the dishes. Sometimes, I feel that the dishes and glasses don't get as clean as I would like them to. Perhaps I need to learn a little more about it. :)

If you are looking for a great, quiet, dishwasher, Look no further. This machine is well built, looks fabulous and is so quiet. If it did not have a small led run light, you would not know it is running...

Had to replace my Bosch, which was quiet and wonderful. Didnt want to spend the money again on the Bosch, so I chose this one and I couldnt be happier.

Dishes only seem to out come out clean when you have the dishwasher half way loaded up, any more dishes then that you gonna have to restart and wash them again. Using the highest setting was a must as well if you wanted clean dishes and that cycle takes like over 2 to 2 1/2 hours to finish...thats not energy savings...really want my whirlpool back....

What i like the most is how well it cleans the dishes & the heat dry setting. Some dishwashers are higher rated for energy saving, but i've heard from a lot of friends who have those kind that the dishes are still wet, even the day after the wash is complete. I read a few reviews saying that the top rack breaks easily, but we bought it anyway, have owned it a year and a half and have had zero problems, but i never load heavy things on the top rack because i always remember those few reviewers who complained about it. I think the reason the top rack "seems" a bit flimsy is because you can raise or lower it depending on your needs, for instance having to move the top rack up because you made a huge Thanksgiving dinner and have the bottom loaded with bigger pots. I've never moved the top rack yet tho. I do like that it fits way more dishes than our old dishwasher because of the tall tub, sometimes i only run it once per week due to this, and I noticed i can fit my tall "travel" coffee mugs on the top rack, which i could never do in our old dishwasher. It also came with a pot scrubber setting, but i wanted to see how well it cleaned dishes, and couldn't wait to throw a baked on lasagna pan in there, not using the pot scrubber setting, and was happily surprised at what a great job it did without. It is very quiet, which i like, because having our living room open to the kitchen, didn't want to hear it. And let me tell you, I was told our old dishwasher was quiet, and it was loud as could be, this dishwasher is very, very quiet. You can hear it, but its not loud at all. Barely noticable infact. In a nutshell, it cleans dishes spotless, it dries the dishes well, you can turn the dry setting to off if you prefer, it's quiet, and the stainless steel is easy to clean with windex. And it has the added bonus of a hidden contol panel, but has a blue light that appears so you can tell when it's done. Highly recommend.

This disdhwasher is a great buy. I love it. I looked at a different brand after looking at some of the options this one has. The power scrub feature is awesome.
