Sounds is great and the bass pounds. Was very surprised with the results of the klipsch speaker set. The volume is also huge!!

I bought these to replace a set of Bose 2.0 Desktop speakers. I read so many reviews on this set that I couldn't help but buy them. The subwoofer is really the reason I purchased this set. My old bose set, while sounding really good, lacked the good low frequency punch and to get good enough low sound had to be modified by the sound card software. This 2.1 Speaker set however requires NO EQ tweaks at all. Sound is great and it's no wonder these are still on sale even after like 15 years of being on the market. Highs, Mids and Lows all come through fantastic and this set is great for movies, video games and music. My only complaint while small to some, is that there is no power button. Why this is, I have no idea. Seems like a simple omission but an important one.

Replaced an agin 2 speaker setup desktop computer. Nice design and great performance from subwoofer. Only disappointment was thevlack of the puck controller for colume that also had 2 headphone inputs as part of the display. Headphone jacks now moved to speaker along with volume and subwoofer control. Nicecbass response. Overall an excelkent choice.

These are outstanding speakers. Tried the more expensive Bose 20. They were great but absolutely do not have the bass that these do. I highly recommend these bad boys

I have other Klipsch audio components and they didn't let me down again. For a 2.1 computer system this rocks both in all respects! Sound is absolutely fantastic.....

I Just Bought This Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Speaker System on Mother's Day 05/08/2010. The System Offers a Great Sound. But, This Particular System Did Not Have a Power Switch. I Repeat There's "NO" Power Switch Located on the Back of the Sub-woofer. I Took Pictures as Proof. It Would Help if They Make the Sub-woofer Lighter & Smaller so It Can Be Use for Traveling...

These speakers were purchased to replace a small bose system that went out during an electrical storm. After speaking with a Best Buy employee, I selected these and couldn't be happier. The bass control is great for fine tuning the low end and the output in terms of bass is quite strong. Overall they sound great, adding depth to my mp3's that was lacking before, almost as clear as a pair of headphones

This speaker set was very easy to set up, offer good range and the sub woofer is pretty powerful, especially for the price. the biggest disadvantage is the lack of a power button. The missing power button is the only reason I took off a star from the rating.

Klipsch has a long history and acclaimed reputation, and all though these are their low end speakers, they're top notch. Take a chance on these over the similarly priced Logitech speakers. If your a bass enthusiast, you'll love them, and they're plenty loud enough for anyone, or any computer. They're not neccessarily what I'd consider audiophile like sounding (which if you are one, you already know of, or own a set of these speakers), which should only slightly concern those primarily using them for music, but that's what I use them for and they're more than fine, actually great (They handle 24 bit quality wonderful). 2.1 speakers aren't usually meant for audiophiles anyway (2.0), and there's only a very limited amount of top notch desktop speakers out there, and Klipsh's are as good as it gets for under $250. I actually can only think of one set of desktop speakers around the $200 range that I'd prefer over these, but they're 2.0 (and meant for music), so they of course have less bass considering there's no subwoofer. Either way, they're excellent, you can't go wrong here and that's for whatever type of media you're using them for.

This system replaced a Logitech Z-2300 which was destroyed by a lightening strike on the side of my house. The Klipsch received really good reviews. The sound from this system is extremely good and rivals more expensive systems. The main downfall is the lack of an on/off switch. I keep it plugged into a separate surge protector so I can easily turn it on and off without unplugging. Despite this one downfall I still give it a 5 star rating and would purchase it again.

Fantastic sound, well worth the money! I moved it from my computer and put it in my den. I listen to music from my IPad.

I looked at the Kilpsch for 2 reasons. Very positive on-line reviews and I already own an older Promedia 5.1 system. Klipsch met my expectations again. Great sound for the value....you won't be mistaken.

Bought this for my garage. Fill the entire room with nice sound. Bass is deep and Highs and mids are on point.
