I listened to demos of various brands and models of speakers in BestBuy and other stores, before deciding to purchase this speaker set. The other speakers that I sampled not only were more expensive but also were less pleasing to my ears. I admit that I might had been biased because this speaker was THX certified. Furthermore, I looked at the technical specifications, such as number watts of output and the Total Harmonic Distortion. The technical specifications that I wanted to know about this speaker set were available, while those of other brands lacked some of the information that I was looking for.

After going through multiple speaker sets, I bit the bullet and spent the $180 (at the time ~9 years ago) and I was amazed by the heart thumping bass and the clear mid and high ranges this set could produce. Haven't heard a competing brand ever come close, unless you take into account the time I setup a full top of the line JBL towers/center/sub/rears floor standing stereo system as my computer speakers... oh how I miss that setup... But I digress. These speakers are great. I only ran into an issue a year ago when the sub decided to stop working, mind you this was after eight years or so, with multiple moves cross country. Even with the $150 price tag I didn't think twice when I picked up a second set! Now only if they still made the 5.1 Klipsch for computers...

I have always been a fan of Klipsch. I tried the Bose speakers and was not impressed so I switched to these. I am so glad I did. Clean sound and the sub is a bit potent but you can dial it down easily.

I bought this system as a solution to "beef up" the sound on a new 4k TV I purchased previously from Best Buy. These are set up in my home Study, so I did not need a full (e.g. 5.1) sound system. The sound from this Klipsch 2.1 system is excellent, which is why I rated it 5 stars. I knew the system did not have a remote control but also knew that I could add an inline IR remote volume control (MCM Electronics - Mfr Number: 50-8394) so I could control the volume from across the room. Finally, because the Klipsch 2.1 system does not have an on/off switch, I plug it into a separate power strip and use that as the on/off switch. Now that these additions have been completed the solution is perfect, for me. Very happy!

These computer speakers exceeded my expectations, Sound great. Installation is a breeze. I do wish the speakers had a power off control. Overall I would recommend these to anyone looking at speakers for their computer.

Instead of buying a $2500 for a car stereo, I bought this product dis $165 and it's working precisely what I wanted for.

This is the best sound quality with excellent price.

I am amazed by the clarity and range of this setup. It has a lot of power and can fill the house, let alone the room, with sound. I thought I was happy with the Logitech setup, but this blows it away.

Recommend to those who like to crank up your music.
