I'm not usually one that enjoys clay animated movies, but this one was really good. There is a great blend of humor and action throughout the movie. To tie it all together, it had a great story line. This was a great purchase in my opinion!

Kubo and the two strings brings stop motion animation to another level. Great story telling and voice acting add to the magic. The Asian setting and music may throw some people off but for me it added to the joy of these types of films.

I'd been impressed with the coming attractions for this movie but never got the chance to see it in the theatre. This package was quite the bargain at $15.99. Good animation, interesting storyline and fun too! The 3D looks superb at home.

I heard good things about this before I saw it, but still didn't know exactly what to expect. But I was really impressed by it; great story, cool music and amazing animation. And my four year old daughter sat through the entire thing!

I wanted to treat myself while running errands so I bought one of my favorite Laika movies (next to Box Trolls). No regrets on this splurge, this film looks beautiful in blu-ray and I appreciated the UltraViolet to take on-the-go.

This is such an amazing movie, yet very unknown as it wasn't a blockbuster like Shrek or other animated movies. The story is beautiful, great acting, and gorgeous animation. I highly recommend this for anyone who likes animated movies.

I think Coraline is still my favorite of the stop motion movies from Laika but this one is a close second. It has similar themes of a parent/child relationship though the plot has a few twists that left me scratching me head, as they didn't make sense to me - particularly the ending. Again, the stop motion is incredible and the parental love and sacrifice theme makes for a great story.

The story is good and the animation and detail are great. The visual effects are fun to watch in the behind the scenes section. If you love stop animation you can't miss out on this one! The 3D is awesome! You will not be disappointed.

The unique tale of Kubo is as riveting as the animation that brings the story to life on the big screen. My 10 year old loved it, but it might be a bit too mature for kids under 8.

Bought as a present for my 10-year-old, but has become a favorite of the whole family. Would recommend this for kids 8 years old and up.

Saw this at the drive-in movie this past summer. Was not anticipating how good this movie turned out to be. It has it all: humor, storyline, top talent as voice actors, and some of the best animation seen in recent years! A must see!!

It's sad that this movie was overshadowed last year by the likes of Zootopia and Minions. Kubo is a genuinely great film, with a touching story, great characters and striking animation. Check this movie out, you'll be glad you did.

This is probably the best stop motion animation I've ever seen. The artistry was better than many Pixar movies. Loved the interesting story line too. My kids thought certain parts were creepy, but overall, they really liked it too.

the story was original and the stop motion animation is the best ive ever seen. the story itself is great and wasn't predictable at all for me. my kids and I love the film. with all of us crying at some of the more emotional parts!

Always looking to keep young ones entertained. This may not be for the young ones, but good to have in your library. Purchased based on recommendation of nieces and nephews, fun to see how they act out their persuasive pitches.

This is such an underrated film. It was unavailable for purchase for the longest time and I'm so glad BestBuy finally had it in stock.

Kubota is a movie to be enjoyed by children and adults, it has a message of hope, and love , and filled with the courage necessary to defeat obstacles. I have recommended to a lot of my friends, singles and with their own families.

The kids really enjoyed it was a good family movie and at the same time shows us how to interact with other cultures. Just relized how much kids can learn from watching movies and understanding how everyday lessons can be learned.

Laika has made really fun movies before like Coraline and ParaNorman and this one does not disappoint. The feel of the movie as well as the stop motion effects are great. It is a wonderful family movie that everyone can enjoy!

I bought this from BB online. Decent movie. It was one that I saw previews for then forgot about for awhile. The price was low and this is not on Comcast or Netflix. Not amazing, but for a cartoon it was decent. Give it a try!
