I really enjoyed this game. Colorful graphics and great story. Then the difficulty curve kicked into over drive and my party was no match for it. Then I got hopelessly lost in the Labyrinth. Very few people are talking about this game so finding help was a bit difficult. In the end I had to drop the game. I do recommend this game; just keep in mind that it is not a casual game.

This game itched my craving for games such as Shining in the darkness and other retro dungeon crawlers. this is not without its flaws and its not quite as great as something like Etrian Oddesy. Labyrinth of refrain is fun, challenging, and interesting. I'm excited to see how this franchise evolves over time. I believe, with continuous evolution, this franchise could revolutionize or even popularize this genre. If you like retro-inspired dungeon crawlers this game a must buy.

The characters in the game are a lot of fun, the game play is neat for a dungeon crawler. The music is fun like Disgaea.

If you are not allergic to Japanese PS games you should try this! Very unique game.

Fun story, slighty wacky and funny. Turns darker at times. Dungeons have some unleved point ment to challenge the player. You will be asked to create and level many characters...gets a bit grindy...you will grind. strategy combat, little action.
