    Can't rely on it, work until it fails.

    I had it for 3 months and failed. Noise came out from it, no respond after. Called Lacie for warranty coverage and got replacement for free, shipping on my own. Customer service was ok with female operator but 2 guys are ruined and inpatient. overall, can't rely on product and customer services wasn't really great. I learned. Thanks...

    Avoid like the plague.

    For over a year my office has felt secure knowing that every night all our files were backed up on our LaCie Porsche Design P’9220. Over the weekend our system crashed requiring us to use the backup for the first time to restore. It turns out all of the saves over the last two months were for nothing. Literally thousands of man-hours of work has been lost because of this. Then upon trying to start fresh and set up a new backup I am unable to save anything as the software wont progress past the “monitoring changes” step. Over a week has passed with multiple attempts being made to contact LaCie’s customer support with ZERO response other than an automated email saying the request was submitted. Overall I would suggest only purchasing this product if you enjoy throwing away time and money.
