Easy set up as a backup drive. Durable case adds to portability. Reliable - it's the second one I've purchased.

I had to purchase a new computer and five years of schoolwork was on the previous one. This LaCie external hard drive is a keeper. I rarely unplug it from the new computer and it holds while traveling in the book bag.

Bought this to backup some photos and videos for my wife's phone and it's amazing.

Very sturdy and easy to use. I have stored allt on it and when i want something back on my phone i just connect it via the wire and add it back on. Very simple. I cant tell you how many times i dropped it and no damage occurred.

Durable, well-priced, and easy to use. The USB-C jack is slightly aggressive (I have to really yank it from my MacBook), but this also ensures that it doesn’t accidentally disconnect.

I have several of these as Time Machine backups for various iMacs at work and home etc. For the most part, they are totally reliable, look good on my desk, and are easy to set up. I purchased this to replace another similar model that died after about 3 years. I would have hoped to get more time out of the last one but understand that sometimes that is the life of a hard drive. Since it was just a backup, corruption of the last device was not an issue.

I needed an external hard drive to send large files through the mail. This was perfect. it's got a large capacity and is really tough, well protected. It arrived in perfect shape.
