This is an awesome movie. I had it on DVD and then eventually bought it on Bluray. Well worth it, the sound and picture is amazing.

This is an underrated movie, in my opinion. This movie is a must watch.. if you love movies like backdraft, and only the brave, please give this movie a chance. Amazing acting, amazing story line. Very captivating

This movie is a pretty good considering being 14 years old. The graphics are not that great, but what do you expect considering how much movie technology has advanced in 14 years?! Overall, it is a good heartfelt movie to snuggle up and watch!

Ok, so it is another firefighter story where the rookie becomes a seasoned firefighter. What makes it worth watching, is the relationship between John Travolta and Loaquin Phoenix.

This movie is for you. You'll laugh, cry and relate. What could be better?

Right from the first scene, the soundfield is fully immersive. Flames roar in the rears, various discrete effects are directed to all channels, and the tonal clarity of the mix is superb. At even a decent volume, I could detect the sound of a fire hose being turned on, or the echo of a fireman's feet racing up a flight of stairs -- all amid a cacophony of sound that, on a lesser mix, would have decimated any hint of subtlety This is what hi/def audio provides. Great demo material, the film put me into the "fire" It is a film my wife enjoyed as well!!!

I had seen this movie a couple of years ago...one day out of the blue I wanted to see this movie....it was a BTFL & sad movie all in one...I look at THE FIRE FIGHTERS differently now....they go through a lot to serve and protect us....this is a must have MOVIE to add to the collection...LVE IT!!!! :)

Great movie for anyone. Good story line, and great actors.
