I bought this for my 6 year old granddaughter that I raise and she hardly ever wants to put it down. I never had to read how to operate it once I had it set up. My granddaughter picked it up and was able to operate it without any help. I love that it is so educational on many levels and that I get updates as to how much time she is spending on her apps, how many questions she answered and the percentage of them she answered correctly. It also works great for my grandson who is 10 and has learning disabilities. It is one tool that keeps their focus without me having to be right on top of them.

We love this leap pad it is great and durable for a special needs kids. The funtions buttons are easy to use. The screen is bigger and hd. The camera take good quality picture!

My daughter got it for Christmas, she loves the apps that are pre-installed. I wish it were able to go to google play store but as far as I know it can't. SO she still plays with my tablet for the other apps she loves but can't get on her ultra.

I bought this for my granddaughter who is 2yrs old. I thought it might be to early but she does ok with it considering her age. Can't wait for the next few months to see how she does

My youngest daughter's original LeapPad2 got damaged and was replaced under the Best Buy warranty. They didn't have the same one in stock so I applied the value to this one. It is a great improvement over the LP2. The biggest improvement is the internal battery, no more AAs! All the kids love it, her older brother asked if he would get one if he broke his LeapPad, we said NO! Great educational software available.

This version of the Leap Frog is a great tool for my daughter to learn educational concepts. I would recommend this product for parents who are looking for a way for their child to get some extra learning support without having to purchase a traditional tablet.

My daughter has really enjoyed her leap frog ultra. However be aware that they do sometimes crash after updates and have to be completely re-installed. Thankfully this is something that you can easily do yourself.

The LeadPad has some fun games on it, but is often left alone whenever an iPad is available to be used for things that this device is not capable of, such as Netflix.

We have enjoyed the leappad and the leapfrog systems. I wish that it would connect to the internet and to google play under parent mode. If it did that, it would be perfect. My kids still use it even at 9 and 10.

My 3 year old has been using this for 2 weeks now and is already learning to write and know her letter and to count higher. She loves it and its so kid friendly and durable.

It doesn't really state on the product that you have to purchase the apps that it says it has on it. It says it has 300+ apps but you have to purchase them.

This tablet is great! With the skin you can buy it does withstand a lot of things without issues. This is the second one my family has had and when I connected it, it put everything that was on the other one on the new one! Great!

My kids enjoy these tablets, but wish it could install google play or the regular net on it under the parent control. Almost perfect. We have had some issues with it rebooting or shutting down randomly.

My daughter is 7 years old and she loves it! Friends told me to buy her a tablet...my thought, "isn't there enough time for that later, I just want her to be a kid for as long as possible." My daughter loves it! And so does dad!

Not a good tablet for younger children, you have to pay for all the good apps and games and its not a kids tablet young children can use on their own.

my five year old was very interested in it at first but quickly lost interest to other things like video games and his tablet, my suggestion is to designate time for learning and time for play.

My daughter is 5 and she is having great time and learning at the same time. I will love the games to be less expensive.

I am very please with my leapfrog. My grandson enjoys it he has improve on his reading and on his math. He has gotten better in reading his words aslo. Everybody should purchase leapfrog for their kida.

My 5 year old loves it. She bought this with her every where she went. When the screen cracked i knew i had to get her another one. Thank goodness for Geek Squad protection.
