Went from a S4 purchased 3.5 years ago ( actually it was free back then ) to this Galaxy S8. Best thing was how easy it was to transfer everything from the S4 to the new phone. Honestly a bit surprised the BB rep that sold me the phone didn't do this for me, they would have at the Verizon store, but like I said, it was easy and quick so not a real issue.

The case provides some interesting features and protection for the screen. It has a limited water resistants'. When the case is closed you get various icons that show through the case. One of the best features of the case is being able to make calls, answer and end calls without opening the case. This keeps you from smudging the screen. Do not think the case will protect the phone like an Otterbox or similar case, but it will protect the phone from minor abrasions and mild drops.

Easy to program,highly protective and easy to carry. LED cover is a good conversation piece.

I really like this case. Durable and protects the GalaxyS8 very well. The LED notifications for time, incoming calls, text messages, battery charging, etc is very convenient. It even shows a lit animated sound wave when listening to music which may not be necessary but is very cool. Has a pocket for an ID or Credit Card but I use it to hold a cloth to keep the screen clean from fingerprints.

This cover was for my son and i was concerned about the color button on the website - it was VERY purple but it was listed as Orchid Gray and matched his new phone color. It really isn't purple at all. He has had a lot of fun as he turns on more of the outside display features. It is way cool that he doesn't have to open the cover to do many things and it doesn't seem to impact the battery life.

The Samsung LED case has incredible integration with the Galaxy S8! You can customize the LED to show specific icons for people, like caller ID. It also has icons to show battery charging %, if you received a text, or if there are multiple, alerts. It also, of course, works as a sleek cover that helps preserve battery life by turning off the screen automatically when closed!

This cover is very cool! I bought it in all 4 colors for my family to choose from. The black one will be going back but only because we only needed 3. The 'purple' one is not anywhere near as purple the color selection box may lead you to believe. It's really more gray, like the Orchid Gray phone.

I bought this case to carry my drivers license along with my cellphone...I was pleasantly surprised to discover all the fun features of this case, such as the LED display of your caller's number scrolling right across the cover. I don't have to open the cover to answer the phone! Great product.

I love this case! This sleek case makes it easy for me to monitor the time, who is calling, texts, and phone activities without needing to swipe my phone. It is so easy to use and keeps my phone off while in my purse etc. I definetly recommend it and will get another in the future.

My son had it for a while and kept talking about its multiple features, trying to convince me to buy it, but I was always wanted my phone slim in my pockets, so I didn't. But, I manage to break the screen on my Samsung phone twice this year, so after getting it fixed the second time I finally caved in and bought this cover. I wish I did it way back! Not only it's slick with knowing who's calling without having to turn the phone on, it also provides the much needed screen protection. I still dropped my phone, but this thing kept it intact.

This was a great buy. My coworker has one and was showing it around and it was so cool, I had to get it for my husband. He loves the ability to see what’s happening on the cover without opening to the glass...I can’t give it 5stars since I think the price on these accessories is insane.

The case looks very nice. I love that i dont have to open the case to see my notifications as well as the time and battery percentage. Its bice to be able to keep my money or card i side of the case. It's not much for safety if the phone is dropped, but otherwuse a very neat case.

Dropped it a few times no cracks with rhis case so far, cool leds tell time or do a little dance of music whenever you do close it, it saves my battery as well because ir prevenrs the screen from turning on when rhe case is on which prevents always on display

completely covers the S8 when closed. However the lighted display give an indication of incoming activity, notifications, and of course, the time. You can answer, or reject, a call with the cover closed. You can edit the icons displayed on the cover. The only thing that takes getting used to is it is a book style cover so you have to get used to how to hold it open to use the back side main camera.

Overall the case looks great and seems to be of a high enough quality....too be honest, not sure how protective it is (but should be enough for most normal and average falls).

My wife Loves this phone protector. I would say it could be more sturdy to absorb impacts; however it works just as it says. l.e.d. light display very stylish.

This is the best cover. The other covers just do not mesure up. When closed it shows the date and time and other notification through the cover. It is slim and textured so I can grip it without having it slip. My son has the bigger phone - same cover for the bigger phone and the screen goes transparent to see videos and picks when the cover is closed. Wish I had the bigger phone after all.

Love this case with convenient pocket for the S8. The LED notifications are helpful and the small pocket it perfect for a few cards when out and about.
