I loved playing this game. The interactivity with the lego characters and different types of characters makes it great fun!

It is such a shame that this game didn't last longer on the market so it could get enough support for bigger kits to build. The game was fun for kids and it even included kits that needed to be built in real life first. If you enjoy building real legos you'll like what they did with this game too.

I bought this for my nephew, he loves it! I will say it does take some research to understand how to play and all the different worlds, but once you get playing it is very fun, Yay Lego!

The kids love this game. I like the fact they have to spend the extra time building each lego prior to playing with the character(s).

The game itself is a lot of fun. My daughter really enjoys playing it. Assembly was just as fun for me as the game was for her.

Way more interactive than other games like it on the market. The base gets used regularly during puzzles , so keep it close.

It's a game with add on characters. The portal has instructions but the character vehicles have instructions on the game. So you have to place it to figure out how to build them. My 7 and 5 year old liked the idea of playing with the Legos more than the actual game. You don't need the Lego pieces to play though just the base that you place on the portal at the end of the instructional videos that by the way interior the game play if you ask me.

My kids are happy and have had hours of fun with this new game, which has real Lego pieces for the characters. Sadly, the kids did not properly put away the game and our dog chewed up the Gandolf character, which I learned is only sold with this set. I found a way to get a replacement and now order has been restored.

wonderful game, we love the toys-to-life options but it plays to completion without buying anything else.

Got this for my son for Christmas and I know he will like because he been asking for this since it first came out

My 10 year old enjoys the Lego Dimensions though it's a bit more involved (assembly of characters) to play than say Skylanders. That's not bad it makes them think a bit more.

My biggest concern while buying this game was that it could be too childish for me... Hopefully I was wrong!

I LOVE this new game. The technology baffles me but who cares! I have all the Lego games for my wii and wiiU.

Although it's marketed towards a younger generation it is fun for all ages. I like that it has been on sale because to me the only downside is the price normally. I would say as far as toy based video games that lego has put in the most effort in terms of replay value and expansion.

Really beautiful graphics! The videos that introduce the plot are witty and the kids love them. The game it engaging and keeps the young ones busy. As for the lego part, while my kids enjoy building the different elements, it seems to take away from the momentum. Overall, a good game.

The kids love their Legos and they love their Wii U. Here they are, mashed together. What could be better?
