Iconic Star Wars Ship to Display!

The helmets, dioramas and ships are all amazing. Incredibly well detailed and just the right size. I recently assembled the Executor-class Star Destroyer while down at my in-laws, left it on their mantle and they ... seem to love it? It looks really good. And I'm sure this one will too.

Fun, Quick Build of the Blockade Runner

It was a fun, pretty quick build. I think it was nine bags, I spaced out over a few days. Assembly was straight forward. The engines were a bit repetitive. It produced a nice display model.

At normal retail price this set is way overpriced. Picking this up on a deal brings it closer to what it should be priced. Overall it provides a nice display and not oversized for those who choose to display multiples or want others in this product line of anniversary STAR WARS sets. The build is average for a LEGO set. The size of the "bridge" of the ship seems undersized when compared to the feature film ship and even in relation to the scale of the USC set. LEGO should have provided more to scale pieces for the bridge.

Not recommend for children under 6 years old because of the small parts they can choke on but the older kids love to spend hours or even days putting these things together and can’t wait to see it when they are done. Doesn’t fall apart like plastic models and there is no need for glue because they snap together. And it teaches your child to read and follow directions.

The instructions were clear and easy to follow, allowing him to take the lead while I assisted when needed. Watching him piece everything together was a joy, as he eagerly narrated their favorite scenes from the movies along the way.
