Probably the best sound I have heard from a speaker this size! Very sleek and love that it can lay on it's side as it has some small flat ridges so it doesn't roll away. Overall very happy with the additional features like waterproof the cool solar panel and I can use it as a power bank to charge my phone!

I bought this product a few weeks ago and I use it all the time! It has great sound quality and the solar power functionality is legit. I use it on my boat and out golfing and I never have it worry about the battery dying. I'm thinking about buying another.

We've been using our California Roll since a week, and WE LOVE IT! The sound is amazing, so clear, the design and packaging flawless, we're so happy! We use it everywhere - at home, at garden parties, in the backseat of our car for the kids...had spilt water over it already, so it even checks for "waterproof"! Great price for value, can't get anything remotely similar with all these features and of such high quality.

I booked one from Kickstarter and this speaker is a real companion to me now. I literally bring it to everywhere and do not worry about low battery because of the solar power :) it amazed me the first time I see it charging via solar. The sound is of high quality and the design is just simple and beautiful. Really glad to have it!

I am a musician, I love music and I am an audiophile. There is nothing on the market that is even close to this product. The sound quality is absolutely awesome. There is no distortion at high volume. The sound is very deep and clear. The unit easily paired with my IPhone and my laptop all together. The unit is completely portable, perfect to play music anytime anywhere. I have played the unit all over the weekend and thanks to the sunny days it never stops. The quality of the microphone is perfect. I received a call and it was absolutely cristal clear. Amazing ! Delightful to own.

Got my speaker and am loving it! First off I can take it everywhere I go, which I do, including bike rides, the pool, etc and I don't even need to worry about it getting wet because of it being waterproof- genius! Also, not having to worry about running out of battery in the middle of listening is awesome. Go get one!

I bought it on Kickstarter last year and received it a month ago. I used it at Lake Taho during one week. Greta sound ! Thanks to the solar power and the power bank, I could charge my phone everyday. California Roll is the ideal companion to travel. I will buy a second one to pair.

I've just received my california roll as a gift and WOW ! I am impressed ! The packaging is quite nice, but most important: the speaker is very easy to use and sound quality is really outstanding. It can be used as an iphone/ipad charger (VERY useful !) and comes with all pluggs and cables you can think of. To cut it short: go for it ! this is an excellent and elegant speaker.

I really like the sound the speaker puts out, especially given it's size. I see a lot of the other features (pair multiple devices, solar charging, call answering, etc.) as more of a bonus. I haven't tested out the solar charging performance yet, but I am curious to see how well that works. The one wish I have is that they would provide a carrying sleeve/case of some sort.
