My laptop is now useless
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this battery to replace the old battery on a Gateway Laptop I also purchased from Best Buy approximately 2.5 years ago. The pc worked great until I installed the new battery. Now it will not start up. I took the laptop to the nearby BB to have it looked at by the geek squad and was eventually told that my laptop would need to be replaced and that it's demise was not caused by the new battery. Also told that it was just coincidental that the laptop died when I put in the new battery. Ha. Now I have to purchase a new laptop to replace it. Needless to say I will not purchase another one from Best Buy.
