Bought this in Jan as a daily deal on a whim as I had never used a Chromebook before and figured if nothing else the kids could play Prodigy on it. Then March came and we were all locked in our homes and kids weren't going to school. This thing has been a life saver as it has become the kids mainline to school. It holds a long charge on the battery and keeps up with the Zoom meetings like a champ. So glad I picked this on a whim.

Kids 5 & 6 love them. Bought 2. Rugged and durable. Long battery life. Decent graphics. Faster online than I expected. Think they like these more than the fire tablets they got last year. Disney+ , Netflix, and Hulu all work great on here also.

I bought this at a great price because it was an open box item. I needed a laptop of some sort to use for a couple college classes. However, this wasn’t compatible after I got it home and tried it. I was really sad because it was quick turning on and switching between programs. I’d recommend it, but just make sure it’s compatible if you need it for special programs.

This is a great cheap and durable laptop. It's especially worthwhile as a backup/spare computer. The size makes it convenient to carry. It's also durably made. My biggest complaint is that the screen is low resolution and not IPS. With a better quality screen I might even use this as my main internet browsing computer.

Thought it would be glitchy and be slow at times, but works perfectly like any computer! Fast and responsive and does everything you need it to do. I'm a student who travels across the country for work, and this laptop fits perfectly in my bag underneath the seat! Not heavy and very portable to take around everywhere!

I would solely recommend this you light office work, schoolwork, or simply browsing. For less than $200, it gets your basic needs done. All in all, this laptop is good enough.

Great build quality, fantastic battery life, fast and snappy. I got mine for $115 after a $5 voucher. Powered by USB-C which can be helpful if you have a power bank. Battery life with average usage is about 8-9 hours. Chrome OS isnt the best if you want to play even basic Android games, especially on this laptop because it doesnt have a touch screen.

Great laptop for my granddaughter who is 12 years old. Light weight and with a big enough screen to make it easy for her to do homework, yet small enough to fit comfortably in a back pack. Lasts about 6-7 hours on battery. She absolutely loves it! Thinking about getting another for my 10 year old granddaughter. Highly recommend for a student.

I love my Chromebook. I did not own a laptop before I got this one. It's light weight. If I need to travel with it, it's nice and slim. I thought I was going to need a larger size screen, but it's not bad. The picture screen is very clear and colorful. It makes up for a larger size screen. I love it! I'm thinking about getting another one, but for my daughter!

Works well and does exactly what I need it for. Keep in mind if you are buying one of these they are app based and certain Microsoft items are limited in functionality, for example you cannot utilize macros in excel. But if you just need it for surfing web/reading/writing, it works great. Like the rugged outside cover. Does not have touchscreen capability like others.

I have been using this Lenovo Chromebook for about a week. The battery is excellent on this chromebook. I get around 8 hours before requiring a re-charge. The design of this chrome is very sturdy and strong. The layout of the keyboard is nice. I like how you have the capability to install google play store and install android apps on this chromebook. For those that are use to microsoft office you can install the android version of Microsoft Office from the google play store. It requires a monthly or yearly subscription from Microsoft, You can also use microsoft office on the web (word, excel, powerpoint) at www.office.com (without any subscription). You can use these software online for free. For basic internet, email and doing documents this chromebook does it all. It boots up and shuts down very quickly. The only complaint that I have about this chromebook is the keyboard is missing the DEL button. I type a lot of documents and so I realize I had to use the backspace button on the keyboard since it didn't have a Delete button to erase a character on my documents. I am not sure why this chromebook keyboard doesn't have a DEL button.

Chromebooks do not provide a DELETE key on the Chromebook QWERTY keyboard. The shortcut Alt + Backspace functions as the Delete key on a Chromebook. The Lenovo 100e Chromebook uses Google Docs for office type programs. Google Docs is completely compatible with Microsoft Office Programs and this is a free service through the Google Server. If you must have the actual Microsoft Office Programs, you can purchase Microsoft Office 365 for this Chromebook at the Google Play Store. This device is engineered for durability. Built tough with rubber bumpers, reinforced ports and hinges, and mechanically anchored keys, the 100e Chromebook (2nd Gen) can handle all manner of shock and awe. Bought 2 of these for our kids to do their homework on, turned out to be money well spent in hindsight because of the school shutdown and them having to be on a computer everyday for school now. They are lightweight and hold a charge for a decent amount of time before needing to be plugged in to charge.
