This is a great laptop, great screen and sound. So far the only things I have found is the battery does not stay charged very long and the right hand shift key is too far right. When typing letters especially can cause a lot of retyping. Why Lenovo would change the key ????????I would recommend this to a friend with the warning of the battery and right shift key.

Best buy use to carry the model before this one and it was a lot faster even though it has less specs. This is a good cheap laptop as long as you don't need it for more the light game use for YouTube. This laptop will not crush games the screen is way to dark and colors look very dark. The speakers are very low and unclear. Like I said great for very lite use.

Pros- Good processing power, good keyboard layout and feel of keys, excellent battery (lasted 6 hours of video streaming) Cons- Hard disk makes a LOT of noise (I observed the same noise on the replacement laptop I ordered, so maybe its a problem with an entire batch or lower quality HDDs were used). Probably the only thing I don't like about this computer is the location of the right shift key and page up key. I keep accidentally hitting the PgUp key, and it messes up whatever I'm doing. It is a ridiculous design feature. Other than that, you get what you pay for. I've had no other issues with it, and my household has 2 of these computers.

Purchased this laptop to replace an aged Sony that used Vista. Wow what a difference! Fast start-up. Ease of use. Light weight. Quiet. Runs cool. No problems so far!!!!!!

For under $500 this is a more than decent laptop that gets the job done. All your basics are covered and everything works and handles well. For this price point you can't beat the value in this and thus it's better than your average laptop in my opinion. If you want something other than HP or Asus this is the product for you!

I've only logged about 20 hours on my lenovo laptop thus far, but it's a smooth operating machine. Quiet, light weight, and thin with a top notch processor.

My cpmments would probably not be fair as this is my first laptop, after 27 years of desktop. It's a neat little device, but the keys are difficult to manage and I wish the F keys didn't come with original function changed to a specific function with VERY small icons--not very user friendly.

This is. Good laptop and does all that it needs to do, however the one downfall is the key placement for the Shift key on the lright side. Where it normally is on other keyboards they have put an Up arrow. I am constantly having to review and move the cursor back to where it should be.

This is a sturdy laptop. The only thing I can't get used to is the shift key is in a lower and further away position then my previous laptop and when typing papers it gets me into trouble it moves the curser to a different location. Otherwise, worth keeping as I can adjust my typing skills.

Nice compact fast machine that appears to have good battery life. This is the new Kaby Lake Intel processor and I think they got it right.

My only complaint about this laptop is that the shift key on the right-hand side is located on the far side of the the up-arrow key. Whenever I want to use the right-hand side shift key, I have to pay extra attention to make sure that I don't accidentally press the up-arrow.

I wanted to check out Best Buy before shopping at a competitor store. Sure glad I did, this computer is a super buy! I saved a couple hundred dollars by coming here first!

Newest or more expensive processors not necessarily faster. Can multitask well.

Bought two Lenova laptops 17" and 15". Key board on the 17 was all messed up and had to exchange it for another one. Once both were set up all was well. We had excellent and knowledgeable help in selecting our laptops. Nelson C. was the gentleman who assisted us.

This is such a great laptop for a really low price. This laptop has the latest Kaby Lake processor! The new MacBook Pro doesn't even have it. Loving it. highly recommended.

Great unit lots of features. Replaces my home PC. Weird shift button placement. Overall Great feature, great price!

Lightning fast w/ the 7th Generation i5. Decent display. Build quality is pretty flimsy & plasticky but can't complain at this price. Only issue is the included AC adapter that is too short. Can get a regular-sized one for $20 on Amazon.
