||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For an IBM tower this Lenovo is a classic workhorse that has been around for a long time in one iteration or another. It basically replaces the same machine that I had that was fried in Hurricane Irma but was a slightly larger model. I love all the USB ports, the small foot print the relatively fast processor for my needs which is basically email, Word, Excel and browsing the net. Highly recommend. It's a great value.

Very good light duty machine

The software doesn't require a lot of horsepower and the specifications of this machine along with the price made it the perfect candidate. I also needed at least six USB ports and this system has eight (6-USB 3 and 2-USB 2). WOOHOO!! Room to grow! There is a gigabit wired port as well as Wireless AC built in. Don't expect fast boots. What you can expect is solid performance once the system is fully booted and all background operations have loaded. The system is small in size which freed up quite a bit of room when compared to the space required for the old mid-sized tower system. This system would make be perfectly suited for most activities other than gaming.

The setup was intuitive and very easy to use. The display is excellent also. Students would like this computer also because of its size and capabilities. It does not it lay flat and is the width of a hardcover book.

So far it works good. I use it for going online (email, facebook, surf the web, etc). i dont do any gaming . The 1 TB hard drive is nice to have because i have room for photos.

This one is OK but 4MB of memory is woefully inadequate. Running a couple of web browsers and Office seems to use 90% of the memory. Also have a corrupt keyboard file that I'm having trouble resolving (0xc 0000020 error)

Posted .This system should provide adequate speed with its Core I-3 processor and 4GB of RAM. If you find that you need more RAM for your workload, this system can support up to 16GB of DDR4-2400MZ Ram in two memory slots. But first be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. Concerning the error code you are receiving, you are correct this is a keyboard mouse driver issue. There may be driver updates for your specific system currently available. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. Here is the link:

Which must be why there are no more local shops.

While I'm not big on gaming this cpu has done a great job in what I'm using it for. the core i3 seems light years faster than my old computer. Pretty happy so far.
