Of the various computers I have purchased and currently own, this Lenovo is the worst. All of my machines run similar software. In fact, this one is carrying a slightly lighter load. It's slow, sluggish, poor responsiveness. I assume it's some combination of a low-quality hard drive, slow RAM, and who knows what else Lenovo did. This has turned me off to Lenovo completely. My equally old Dell desktop with an older processor runs smoother than this machine.
FYI - it was slow soon after we started using it but just kept it thinking I could figure out why it has so many issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

ran great right out of box; good graffics. if you need to add any upgrades this is not the one for you. small power supply can not run dedicated video card. did have uhd video out of box,
