Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Ideapad 510s-14. Windows 10 should not need to update "constantly". Be sure that the update is completed and you are not shutting down the device, or otherwise stopping the update, before it is complete. Also sometimes a Windows 10 update will require a restart of the system to complete the update. There should be onscreen directions to restart the device after the update download, if it is necessary.

Might be a good laptop, but not the keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't get far enough to know what I'd like or not like about the laptop, but really hated the keyboard. When I'd reach for the right shift key, I'd more often hit page up and my typing would jump to a different line. That's a show stopper for me. Too bad, as I've loved the keyboard on my old T420 and T410's.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 510s-14 laptop. With regard to the right shift key issue you mention, there is a free software APP called KeyTweak that may help you. You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP.
