It competes "head to head" with IBM, Dell, Gateway with speed and performance. I was just looking for a generic disposable Windows platform for developing software and came away with a very nice developers IDE.

This one has more memory and a faster processor. I would recommend this to anyone who needs basic computing needs. Not for hardcore gamers.

You can keep your computer running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. Great Machine

It's very fast and I like that it didn't come with a bunch of bloatware. I use it for browsing the Internet, as well as photo and video editing and graphic design using Photoshop, After Effects, and other design software. It's a great machine for the price. Lenovo is the ONLY brand I trust for computers and they're the best value, in my opinion.

This my first Lenovo and I don't think I'll ever switch to another. It's perfect for all my phot editing needs. The HD could be bigger but overall this is a fine product. I like that it has DDR4 RAM and is easily doubled for faster performance.

It is really fast with the click of a button. I upgraded my old computer that was an i5 to an i7 and man there is a difference. I have had it for about 1 months an so far no problems. I use this computer for my office and it keeps up with 2 monitors with a lot of open windows as far as ready plans and working with excel spreed sheet. Surfing the web is a breeze. I would recommend this computer.

I hope this Lenovo lasts as long and gives me no problems. Customer Service for Lenovo on the internet wants to charge you for anything I found out. So I called Customer Service and they were able to walk me thru my problem. Except when I had to call back this time the man I spoke with was rude. All I was doing was guessing why it was taking so long to reset my computer.

Had Geek squad install a SD drive as primary and using the installed hard drive for backups. Starts up lighting fast. Has enough USB ports where I don't need connector adaptors.
