Product exceeded my expectations. Very good for the price which was lower than usual because it was an open box. The only thing I had a problem with was that it only had 4 gb of ram that could not be upgraded. Other than that it was a great buy!

I really like this computer, I bought it for school, and it works great. gets a little slow if you're planning on using this for gaming, etc., but perfect for school.

I bought an underpowered Lenovo laptop to handle a slate of Tasks required to continue the launch of a fintech business. The laptop has frozen on numerous occasions, requiring rebooting by me and frequent emergency calls to the Geel Squad. No matter the time of day or frequency of calls the Geek Swiaf team handles each situation with graciousness and expertise. It has enabled me to stay in business.sithout interruption. I love my Lenovo Laptop. I purchased it for my virtual University course work. including conducting Zoom meetings with Instructors and colleagues. The connectivity to WiFi is always great, even when travelling. The visual and sound quality is great for meetings as well. I would highly recommend this product to others.

Ok for small games but great for school it was also very affordable for the quality

I got this laptop for an affordable price. I got in for “Deal of the Day”. The laptop is good for basic users. I am happy with that but if you’re an avid gamer or editing videos and photos, then go for higher budget laptop with more Ram.

Purchased the same laptop and it lasted a year before the left hinge wouldn't move without damaging the bezel around the display and the plastic bar between the keyboard and the screen. I thought it was much longer than a year so since it was not an expensive laptop I purchased another when it fell apart. I purchased this on in January 2025. The same problem is occurring, but only after 4 months. In order to keep it from totally falling apart and separated the screen from the keyboard and the not have the internal parts by the hinge break and fall out, I have to leave the screen in the upright position and make sure it doesn't move. I know I didn't learn my lesson, but even if this one lasted a year I'd have been ok and definitely (hopefully) learned my lesson. I'm posting this review so you can be aware of the problem.

I bought this as a cheap computer to lug to class instead of lugging my 2000 dollar gaming laptop. I was very happy with the specs for the price compared to other companies offerings. When i got it set up while i was able to do my tasks on windows it was very slow and buggy due to windows taking up all of the 4GB of RAM all the time where i would randomly get memory full errors in chrome while browsing. Since the RAM is not upgradable i decided linux would be a better option for this machine. Once I installed linux mint on it which I ran into no issues doing the machine ran lightyears better all the drivers were detected by default and i was able to actually multitask with multiple tabs open and other programs such as a word processor and spotify open in the background. So if you buy this I would definitely recommend getting rid of the bloated windows 11 install and installing a linux distribution of your choice instead.

I recently picked up the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15AMN7 and have been pleasantly surprised by how much value it offers for the price. I’m glad I made the switch and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable laptop without breaking the bank.

I bought this laptop expecting solid performance, but unfortunately, the storage situation has been a major issue, especially for playing The Sims 4. The laptop comes with an SSD only, which is great for speed, but the storage capacity fills up way too fast—something I didn’t realize would be such a problem until I started getting low space notifications every time I launched the game. Performance & Gaming For everyday tasks, the laptop runs smoothly, and The Sims 4 itself plays well once it actually loads. However, with custom content and mods, the lack of storage caused serious problems—mods wouldn’t load correctly, the game lagged, and saving files became a nightmare. If you’re planning to install large games or use a lot of mods, be prepared for constant storage management. The Fix: Buying an External SSD To keep The Sims 4 running properly, I had to buy an external SSD just to have enough space. After moving my mods and game files over, things improved, but this shouldn’t have been necessary for a gaming-capable laptop. It should at least have an option for expandable storage. For Sims 4 Players I’m mainly writing this review for Sims 4 players because if you’re like me and love using mods and custom content, this laptop’s storage will fill up very quickly. Be ready to buy an external SSD if you want to keep everything running smoothly. Final Thoughts Otherwise, this laptop is great—fast, reliable, and good for everyday use. But for Sims 4 players, the storage limitations make it frustrating. If you get this laptop, expect to spend extra on an external SSD unless you’re fine constantly managing storage. Would I recommend it? Yes, but only if you’re prepared for the extra cost of more storage.

It can get warm pretty easily and the space gets taken up very quickly, but it's a nice modern, decent computer.

I bought it becsuse of its compact size & I'm happy with both size & weight which makes it truly portable for me since I'm limited . I works OK for home but I have to be careful not to push it too hard, else it just slows down completely and has simply shut down in some cases. It's fine as long as its not used to manage a household requiring time schedules or to run a business.

We purchased the Lenovo-Idea Pad 1 15.6” laptop for our grandson,s freshman year of college. It has been a great asset for completing his assignments - particularly submitting online work within seconds of the time deadline! The price offered by Best Buy and additional available software apps have made this a great purchase.

The laptop is comparatively faster than my older Lenovo laptop. External hard drive will be needed since internal storage is only 250 GB. 16GB memory allows multiple apps running simultaneously. This laptop comes with Windows 11s and allows to install apps from the Microsoft Store only. If you want to install an app that isn't available in the Microsoft Store, you'll need to switch out of S mode and you can't go back to S mode.

So far so good no issues, was worried about space. Good price, hasn’t crashed yet

This laptop is great for the price. I definitely prefer AMD Ryzen processors and this laptop has a Ryzen 3 which is excellent for homework, internet browsing and just a little gaming. I’m looking forward to upgrade it with a bigger SSD and more RAM when it starts to feel slow, but for now I just purchased an external SSD for all my files to keep it as clean as possible
