Customers commend the IdeaPad 130 for its budget-friendly price, with many stating it's worth the cost. The 15.6-inch screen size is also well-received, as are the inclusion of a DVD drive and solid-state storage. However, the laptop is criticized for its slow performance, short battery life, and limited RAM.

A lot of value for little cost. That laptop with SSD and the AMD A9 processor is great, and the price is very reasonable—you get a lot of bang for your buck.

Cheap laptop for users to work remotely. Works great. Has Windows, usable cpu, ram, ssd, and display. Don't expect XPS or Macbook quality for this price, and you shouldn't. But for cheap laptop, its great. Dont' expect to game, video edit, photoshop, or do those types of tasks on this price point.

Basic computer with no fancy bells or whistles. Only real downside is the speed due to processors not necessarily being that strong.

I only do e-mail and I have I have searched for some products that I could not find in a store. I don't play a lot of games. It give me a problem now and then by zooming in or out. I think it is the way I touch the pad with both hands at one time. I did finally find out how to go the other way so it is just a minor bother now.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 130-15 laptop. With regard to the touchpad, you can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad.

Came with Windows 10 Home and 4GB RAM. Upgraded to 8GB memory which turned it into a zippy little computer. Present for niece, she's happy with it. It only has 1 memory slot, so had to remove the 4GB and replace with 8GB RAM--that's reason for 4 stars.

Feature packed with dvd-rw drive and 10-key pad on key word which usually aren't available with lower end laptops. SSD boots fast but processor isn't the fastest so lags a bit, but perhaps to be expected in this price range. Purchased during the height of covid so it was one of the few available - served it's purpose for a year for school, but will sell it and get a Chromebook instead.

If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. 1. This computer if OK for Internet browsing, but screen quality and windows 10 in general are a negative. Mine came with Windows 10s installed by default and only apps from Microsoft can be installed, it required Microsoft Account access to change it to Windows 10 Home 64 bit. It is fast enough, but only after all OS updates are installed and machine reboots a couple of times. I purchased this machine to specifically clean install Linux. It works well and fast with Linux after a work-a-round with the wifi (realtek rtl8821ce).
