Easy to use, access for school runs on google services so you don’t need to worry about additional services when needed. Easy access as many accounts linked with google, loads really fast, only dislike is no light up keyboard, but it is detachable. + Great battery life lasts up to the whole day, charging speed is ok. Oled Screen makes videos more clear and picture better.

The Duet 5 is the perfect 2 in 1 follow up to the older sibling, the OG and smaller Duet. Build quality - Overall is mid to high end all around and very solid. Keyboard: Strikes the perfect balance between light for mobile use but also rock solid sturdy with good key travel. Not backlit. I also own the HP X2 11 but I dislike the keyboard on that 2 in 1. It feels like a flimsy cardboard compared to the nice solid keyboard on this Duet 5. Unlike its smaller sibling or the HP X2 11, this keyboard finally has a magnet, so the keyboard does not shift around once closed. Great improvement here. Back cover: The material has a very similar high end gray fabric feel to the OG Duet, which is very nice. The kickstand hinge is solid but also easy enough to open/close with one hand, which is great. Both the OG Duet and even worse, the HP X2 11 kickstand hinge is unnecessarily tight. Performance Much improved speed of use compared to the OG Duet, but obviously not nearly as snappy as a 11th-gen Intel Tiger Lake i3 like on my Flex 5i. The Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 is also a slight improvement to the first Gen, which is on the HP X2 11. Definitely a noticeable speed difference between those generations in every day use, but unless you are comparing side by side, you really won't notice or care. Overall, I'm perfectly happy with the start up and every day use performance. Battery Life: Very very good battery life. I never tested to depletion, but I would use it all day, light to medium use for work and entertainment (emails, browsing, document editing, YouTube, Netflix, etc.), and would have plenty left in the tank. My guess is that with light to medium use like me, it would last a good 10-15 hrs, lower end of that for heavy video watching. Screen: Last and the 'best' part, the screen quality. Wow! This OLED screen is insanely beautiful. The colors pop and the brightness is more than what you will need, even for the outside. I've got the Lenovo Flex 5i which is a similar 13.3" screen, and this 13.3" OLED screen blows that out of the water. Overall : Very happy with the purchase and performance. Similar thoughts to the HP X2 11, which is that I would avoid paying full price. I'm a Chromebook junkie so I paid full price. :) Be smart and just wait a couple of months if you can, and the price will go down a good $100-$150 for sure. At $350-$400, it is without a doubt, a DEIFNITE buy!

What I liked Gorgeous OLED display, Long battery life, Lightweight, Portable and Versatile. Good all in one. What I didn't like Limited performance, the processor is not the fastest, so it can sometimes lag when you're multitasking or using demanding applications. There is no headphone jack, so you'll need to use Bluetooth headphones or a USB-C adapter. The keyboard is small and cramped, so it may not be comfortable for everyone. Limited ports, only has two USB-C ports, so you may need to use a hub if you want to connect multiple devices.

This device is a beast. I'm still amazed that it costs so little. I use it to read sheet music in concert band, take digital pint classes (with a stylus I bought that works great), and just about everything else. The keyboard is nice. It attaches and detaches as if it thinks on its own. I did have to buy a stylus and stylus holder separately. The battery is amazing. I dont understand how it lasts so much longer than my phone. Maybe it's some form of nuclear fusion. ;) The screen is excellent. It works well using you finger or a stylus. Chrome OS has its own gestures for the keyboard mouse or just your fingers. Once I learned those getting around was easy. The camera is sort of 'meh', but the device works best when working with your phone and not replacing it, so I just use my phone's camera. After using this, I've become a fan of both Chromebooks and Lenova.

Honestly, this little computer can do so much more than you think. I've been using mine for over a year (bought mine in March 2022 then bought my friend one in January). The device multitasks much better than you'd think for an arm processor, the battery lasts 8-10 hours easily, and this display is beautiful. My only hesitation would be if you do a lot of typing. The keyboard works really well but is not great for putting on your lap. This is not just an entertainment device and is great if you can get it for under $400. Finally make sure you get the 8gb of ram model. Chrome OS does not run great on 4gb anymore. The best buy model will always have 8gb of ram and 128gb storage. Also more there is no micro SD card slot but you can use a dock with the additional USB c port. It can also output a display at 1080p 60hz.

**Review: Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 5 Chromebook** So, I got my hands on the Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 5 Chromebook, and here's the lowdown from someone who lives on their devices. **Design and Build Quality:** First off, the Abyss Blue color is pretty slick. It’s got this modern, chill vibe that I really dig. The keyboard snaps on and off easily, which is great when you're switching between work mode and just browsing on the couch. The build quality feels surprisingly premium for a Chromebook. **Display:** The 13.3" FHD touchscreen is awesome. It’s super clear and bright, which makes binge-watching Netflix or scrolling through Insta a treat. The touchscreen is responsive and feels natural to use. **Performance:** It's running on a Snapdragon 7cG2 with 8GB RAM, which means it’s smooth for daily stuff. I’ve been multitasking between Google Docs, YouTube, and a million Chrome tabs without any hiccups. Just don't expect to play heavy games or do intense video editing on this – it’s not built for that. **Storage:** With 128GB eMMC, it’s decent but you'll probably rely on cloud storage a lot, especially if you hoard files like me. It’s manageable if you use Google Drive or other cloud services. **Battery Life:** Battery life is stellar. It easily lasts all day for me – from morning emails and meetings to evening Netflix binges. Perfect for anyone who's always on the move or hates being tethered to a charger. **Software:** Running Chrome OS means it’s super fast and updates are a breeze. Also, having access to Android apps from the Google Play Store is pretty handy. Chrome OS is sleek and gets the job done without any fuss. **Conclusion:** Overall, the Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 5 Chromebook rocks for what it is. It’s portable, has a killer screen, and handles everyday tasks without breaking a sweat. If you're looking for something affordable and reliable for work and play, this is it. **Rating:** 4.5 out of 5 stars

I was originally looking for a simple, affordable laptop/chromebook for getting work done on the go, or when I just didn't feel like sitting at my desktop. This Ideapad has exceeded my expectations! First off, the screen is amazing. I'm an artist, and having a screen that kept the colors true to how I see my paintings was really important. I also love how the interface changes depending on whether or not the keyboard is attached, going between a typical laptop arrangement with a tool bar at the bottom of the screen, or a tablet setup with a homescreen filled with your app icons. I keep it in "laptop mode" most of the time, but the versatility of still being able to use the touchscreen at any time is wonderful. The battery life is also really impressive. And despite being so thin, the tablet does not feel cheap or "plastic-y" in any way.

So far it runs well and handles multiple tabs open at the same time. Mousepad gets dirty fairly easily. Extremely lightweight and portable with a robust battery. Two usb-c ports is all you get. Best suited for a commuter or student. Only purchase when below the 400 dollar threshold through sales or promotions.

This is a great little product for my business. The battery life is insane! I went a few days before half the battery was drained. The display is Incredible The speakers are okay I guess. And it allows me to download apps from the playstore! Although I use this device Primarily for business, I really wanted to test the capabilities of this device. I plugged in my stadia controller using the usb and it also worked like a charm for a few games. Although this product is limited to doing everything I use regular computers for, Chrome has failed to disappoint me and I don't regret purchasing it!

I recently purchased the Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 5 Chromebook 2-in1 Laptop from Best Buy, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. This device has truly exceeded my expectations in every way. First and foremost, the user-friendly interface makes it incredibly easy to navigate, whether I’m working on a project or just browsing the web. The 13.3" FHD touchscreen is responsive and vibrant, enhancing my overall experience. The ability to switch between laptop and tablet modes effortlessly is a game changer, making it perfect for both productivity and leisure. The performance powered by the Snapdragon 7cG2 chip is impressive. With 8GB of RAM and 128GB of eMMC storage, multitasking has been a breeze. I can easily run multiple applications without any lag, which is essential for my daily tasks. One of the standout features for me is the long battery life. I can use it for hours on end without needing to charge, making it ideal for on-the-go use. Whether I'm at a café, in a meeting, or lounging at home, I don’t have to worry about finding an outlet. The Abyss Blue color adds a sleek and modern touch, and the included keyboard provides a comfortable typing experience. Overall, the Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 5 has proven to be an outstanding Chromebook, combining versatility, performance, and style. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable and efficient device!

This form factor for a Chromebook is so great, but Lenovo gets a lot wrong here. First off, the bezels... Look, i get that slim bezels look better, but when you try to hold this thing as a tablet you're constantly pressing on the screen by accident. That wouldn't be so much of an issue but multi-touch is screwy here, so you can't touch another part of the screen if you're already accidently touching your palm on it. There have been so many times i go to put in my pin and i can't because i'm accidentally holding the screen. It's REALLY annoying. Secondly, the stylus. Well... the lack of a stylus. That's a small deal here, but there is no stylus in the packaging. What's a huge disappointment is that the back magnetic panel has a slot for a stylus holder... which also doesn't come in the box. AND also isn't available for purchase. Why even do it then?? The sides are nowhere near magnetic enough to utilize with a magnetized stylus. So if you're going to buy this for note taking and similar activities... don't. I ended up finding a workaround by 3D-printing my own, which shows how laughable Lenovo is .. Let's talk performance... It's really REALLY slow. I mean, this is 2024. How do you get it so bad? I'm literally waiting 30 seconds to load a full sized web page when my phone (with a similar processor) can do it in less than 3 seconds (and yes, full sized web page). It's horrific. The ONE positive about this is the display. Since it's an OLED, it's beautiful. Every video on this thing is just a joy to watch. You have the crisp blacks, punchy colors, sharp lines. It's great Aaaaaand then it's immediately ruined by the speakers that sound like they came straight out of the OG iPhone. They're weak. They're tinny. They're quiet. They're GARBAGE. So this results in you never wanting to watch anything on that beautiful screen. You would think this is all done in the name of battery life, especially the OLED. Well... it isn't. Battery life is on par with what you'd get from something like a Surface Pro. The surprising thing is how much battery drains when in standby mode. It's a lot. Much more than it should be. Probably something that would get fixed in a software update... if the software ever gets an update... Finally, let's talk longevity. The hardware in this device isn't eligible for the Chromebook Plus title. Lenovo is infamous for not updating their software. It's already showing signs of aging 3 months after purchase. And to top it off, this tablet/laptop has literally $0 trade in value anywhere. It becomes a brick as soon as you buy it. In a phrase, Why Bother??

I recently purchased the Lenovo and it has quickly become my favorite piece of tech. From its sleek design to its impressive performance, this laptop ticks all the boxes for a modern, efficient, and powerful computing experience. The first thing that caught my eye was the laptop’s sleek, minimalist design. It is crafted from high-quality materials, giving it a premium feel. It’s remarkably thin and lightweight, making it perfect for on-the-go professionals like myself. The backlit keyboard is not only visually appealing but also incredibly comfortable for long typing sessions It features a stunning display with vibrant colors and sharp details. Whether I’m editing photos, watching movies, or working on presentations, the visual quality is top-notch. The narrow bezels enhance the viewing experience, making it immersive and enjoyable. Audio Quality: The speakers deliver clear, crisp sound, which is perfect for video calls and media consumption. Security: The fingerprint reader adds an extra layer of security and convenience. Thermal Management: The laptop stays cool even during intensive tasks, thanks to its efficient cooling system. Overall, the Lenovo is an exceptional laptop that combines style, performance, and portability. It meets all my professional and personal

First, the good: battery life is excellent. OLED screen looks very vibrant, colors are vivid. And the bad: the 16:9 aspect ratio makes it impossible to use the Chromebook in portrait orientation. They should've cut 2 inches off the side and made it 3:2. If you do try to use as a tablet for reading, the 1080p screen makes text look very grainy at arm length distance. Performance was mediocre at best. Chrome was very slow to respond to scrolling action within webpages, which is pretty worrisome for a ChromeOS device. But worst of all, the keyboard cover doesn't fit. There's a flap that connects the cover to the magnetic strip which attaches to the tablet. The flap is too small/stiff. It doesn't allow the cover to sit on the tablet's screen completely. It pulls it toward the hinge and exposes about 1/4" of the screen's glass. Seems like something that should've been caught and easily fixed with a design change during development of this Chromebook.

This is my first Chromebook and I'm pretty happy with my purchase. The Chromebook is fast, has a great screen size and picture quality. I literally finished a series of 8 episodes and the battery still had 54% of battery left!!!! I find myself watching lots of content. I was worried about the speaker quality because of the reviews about it but I don't have any complaints The audio is loud and clear and I'm able to stream movies and watch them without headphones or Bluetooth speaker. If you find this in discount you MUST get it!
