Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For what this computer offers I think the value is really good. 16gb of ram and a 512ssd paired with a ryzen 7 processor and touchscreen for 400 bucks seems like a great deal to me. I haven't used it alot because I mainly use my work computer for work and school stuff but from the times I have used it, the screen is bright the computer is snappy and responsive and I haven't had any issues yet.

Great unit, priced right

So far, it is working great, no real issues. Almost all my old laptop items transfered over with a login to Google. I questioned whether or not to get the 1TB of hard drive space, but they were not in stock. So far, space is fine plus I have a couple of good Seagate 2TB external drives if I ever needed more space

I have brought this product for my little sister who's a student of social science and she already started doing Python programming and STATA tabulate works in here. GREAT WORK & GAMING LAPTOP

Can handle all of my editing, power points, gaming or whatever multi usage applications you throw at it. I’ve been using this for ONE WEEK EXACTLY & I am highly impressed & very pleased with my purchase, it’s a bunch of technical specs that I’m impressed with but your average user doesn’t care so I left it out

Great for everyday needs of school

Excellent laptop

This laptop has helped get so much work done and has helped me edit videos, play games, graph my work and get new jobs I never thought I could get. The touch screen makes it easier to edit stuff and when playing games. The phone link opinion has been amazing when I want to use a higher quality camera.

Very good laptop, but with a few issues

Firstly, we recommend running and installing all available drivers updates through Lenovo Vantage and Windows Update Settings, these updates can adjust display drivers leading to a clearer display and will affect power allocation leading to improved battery life. To check for updates within Lenovo Vantage begin by launching the application, then select the “Check for updates” button on the top of the right-hand of the display. To check for Windows Updates, start by launching the Settings app, then selecting the Windows Update tab on the left-hand side of the page, finally select the “Check for updates’ button located in the top right of the page.
Secondly, the IdeaPad Slim 3 allows you to change the computer’s thermal mode. This will allow your device to cycle between higher performance, quiet, or automatically adjust based on your needs. To start, launch the Lenovo Vantage app, select the "Device Settings" tab from the left-hand side of the display, scroll down to "Power modes" and select the best mode based on your needs. We suggest using Quiet mode which will extend the battery life of the device. You can also toggle thermal modes simply with the Fn+Q hotkey.
